Sales Operations Manager
Cisco
• Own end-to-end management of the sales forecasting process including data analysis and recommendations to sales leadership • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Salesforce and other Business Intelligence (BI) tools • Support Annual Planning including territory design and quota setting within the Splunk Americas Sales and Partner organizations • Analyze partner demand generation, analyzing pipeline health, velocity, and conversion to hit quarterly targets • Establish strong operating cadence to drive consistency and predictability throughout the sales organization • Streamline the end-to-end sales process to eliminate bottlenecks and increase productivity using AI, automation, Salesforce and reporting systems • Act as a trusted advisor to sales and partner leaders on GTM Strategy and decisions • Work closely with sales, channel, marketing, finance, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on strategy, messaging and go-to-market initiatives
Job Requirements
- 3+ years in Sales Operations, Business Operations or a relevant function
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
- High proficiency with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- advanced excel skills and experience with BI Tools (e.g. Tableau)

• Install tools when clients onboard - across Sales Enablement, Email Deliverability and CRM • Cleanse and upload prospect data directly into client systems • Audit platforms across projects to catch issues and ensure data is flowing properly • Pair with Sales Development leadership to build robust reporting and ensure tracking of KPIs • Pair with us when fire drills occur - including having direct facetime / engagement with our clients • Help InsideScale on our internal architecture and data ops needs • Be willing and able to both learn our best practices, and add to them • Have a strong sense of ownership over the quality and delivery of your work
• Develop sales-facing messaging: Translate market and service developments into clear, persuasive messaging for new offerings, service changes, competitive positioning, target segments, and strategic commercial priorities. • Create and evolve sales materials: Own the development and ongoing refinement of high-value sales materials, including presentations, QBR content, one-pagers, battlecards, objection-handling tools, launch materials, and field-facing support assets. • Turn complexity into usable narratives: Convert commercial, operational, and technical developments into concise language and messaging that sales teams can use confidently and consistently in live customer conversations. • Support launches and strategic initiatives: Build materials that help Sales understand what changed, why it matters, and how to communicate those changes effectively to customers and prospects. • Partner with the field: Work with Sales leadership and field teams to understand where messaging is effective, where adjustments are needed, and how materials can better support real selling situations. • Provide high-stakes deal support: Support complex or important sales conversations with tailored messaging, presentations, and narrative support as needed. • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Market & Service Development, Marketing, Brand/Design, and other stakeholders to keep sales materials current, aligned, and grounded in market priorities and service capabilities.
• Reviewing customer purchase orders (POs) and Terms & Conditions before orders are accepted. • Identifying non-standard or risky contract language. • Coordinating approvals with Legal, Finance, Sales, Pricing, and other stakeholders. • Ensuring approval matrices and delegation of authority are followed. • Verifying pricing, discounts, payment terms, Incoterms, shipping terms, and commercial requirements. • Making sure all required documentation is complete before the order enters ERP. • Acting as the gatekeeper between Sales and Order Management to prevent downstream issues. • Tracking approval status and ensuring timely turnaround. • Maintaining documentation and audit trails.
