Public Sector Solution Engineer, Strategy & Planning Manager
Cisco
• Lead creation, definition, communication and execution of key USPS Engineering priorities aligned to USPS and Americas/WW Engineering priorities • Own the USPS Engineering operating calendar, including regular senior engineering leadership calls, DE/PE calls, SE Leader meetings and SE all-hands as examples • Ensure clear communication and timely execution of key activities and deadlines related to recognition, development, initiatives, etc. • Ensure SEs and SE Leaders are enabled with the tools, data and training to execute all core growth priorities and transformational initiatives • Maintain a pulse on the engineering organization • Act as a representative of the USPS Engineering organization in cross-functional forums • Lead key processes to align the USPS architecture teams with the portfolio team
Job Requirements
- Field Sales Engineering experience with a consistent track record of success
- Deep understanding of Cisco's portfolio, tools, processes and sales motions including software sales
- 5+ years of validated experience in leading operations, program management or strategy development
- Experience working with Federal, State and Local Governments or Education customers (Higher Education or K12)
- Experience working in large, sophisticated organizations
- Successful track record of outstanding performance and strong leadership skills
- Strong process and change management orientation, with a consistent record of solving sophisticated business problems and crafting viable solutions
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
