Role Description We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer II to design, develop, and deploy customized solutions within our Salesforce environment. You will work closely with administrators, stakeholders, and other technical staff to build scalable and maintainable Salesforce applications that support Elevate’s mission and business operations. - Develop custom applications, triggers, Apex classes, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support business processes. - Collaborate with administrators and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems and APIs to ensure seamless data flow and process automation. - Create and maintain flows, validation rules, and process automation to streamline organizational operations. - Write and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality code and meet platform deployment standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, bugs, and performance challenges in a timely manner. - Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and team meetings to support Agile development practices. - Document technical designs, workflows, and system configurations for future reference and training. - Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and platform best practices to propose system improvements. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience required. - At least three (3+) years of Salesforce development experience in a professional setting, preferably in a remote or agile environment. - Strong proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs. - Experience with Salesforce DX, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Gearset or Copado. - Comfortable working in agile teams, using tools like Jira or Trello, and participating in iterative development cycles. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
