• designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using the TALEND platform • implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to facilitate data movement between various source and target systems • creating data flows, transformations, and integrations between multiple data sources and targets • optimizing TALEND jobs for performance, reliability, and maintainability • troubleshooting and resolving data integration issues and performance bottlenecks • creating and maintaining technical documentation for all TALEND jobs and processes • collaborating with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements • working with database administrators to ensure proper data structures and optimize SQL queries • implementing data quality checks and validation rules within ETL processes • supporting the deployment of TALEND jobs across development, testing, and production environments • maintaining version control of TALEND components and jobs • staying current with new releases and features of TALEND products
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development using TALEND
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
- Experience with SQL and relational database management systems
- Proficiency in TALEND Open Studio, TALEND Data Integration, or TALEND Big Data platforms
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions
- Experience working with various database systems including SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, Perl) for automation and data processing
- Experience with various data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services and API integration
- Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques
- Experience with source control management tools (Git, SVN)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and accuracy
