• Understand the business domain, processes, and requirements. • Understand business processes and objectives, and how they relate to systems and technology. • Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements for new features or products. • Work with external 3rd parties as needed to define API’s, interfaces, business rules and process for interaction with their solutions. • Work with development teams to ensure that requirements are understood and testable, and that solutions meet business needs. • Help shape product vision and strategy by providing input on market trends, competitive landscape, customer feedback, and user research. • Support the technology product owner in maintaining the product backlog, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria. • Create prototypes and mockups to help visualize proposed solutions. • Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on design concepts. • Write detailed documentation to support the development and launch of new features. • Monitor key metrics after launch to identify areas for improvement. • Assist with troubleshooting and root cause analysis when issues arise. • Keep up to date with latest industry trends and share knowledge with team members. • Proactively identify opportunities to improve process and tools. • Perform cost-benefit analysis to justify proposed system changes.

• Identify, scope, and solve complex business problems by building software solutions from scratch • Transform vague requirements and business pain points into concrete technical implementations • Take full ownership of projects from conception through deployment and testing • Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and AI tools to solve unique challenges • Create prototypes rapidly to validate concepts and iterate based on feedback • Leverage Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI development tools to accelerate coding and improve quality • Master prompt engineering techniques to maximize AI tool effectiveness for code generation, debugging, and optimization • Integrate AI capabilities into applications where appropriate, including API integrations and custom AI workflows • Stay current with evolving AI development tools and incorporate best practices into daily workflows • Balance AI assistance with fundamental coding skills and architectural understanding • Build end-to-end solutions across the technology stack, with emphasis on Microsoft technologies (Azure, .NET, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365) • Design and implement APIs, databases, user interfaces, and system integrations • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that other developers can understand and extend • Implement robust error handling, logging, and monitoring for production systems • Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle • Work effectively within Shape Up, Agile, and/or Waterfall methodologies as projects require

• Responsible for engaging with various business units to translate business needs into quality software solutions. • Assists in the design, development, and implementation of identified solutions following Agile Software development practices. • Provides operational support for all managed enterprise-wide software solutions. • Works to maximize opportunities to use technology to improve products, services, and/or business processes. • Oversees all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle for enterprise-wide software solutions. • Drives efficient and effective joint business/IT requirements and solution discussions. • Provides high-quality analytical system solutions for key stakeholders. • Identifies software functional gaps and opportunities of improvement. • Collaborates with product owners to create product backlog by using Agile practices. • Creates user stories with relevant acceptance criteria. • Participates with the implementation of projects as technical subject matter expert from beginning to completion. • Participates in scrum events such as daily scrums, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint retrospective and reviews. • Supports Agile practices and encourages the improvement of service. • Designs, creates, and documents process flows, technical requirements list, specifications, diagrams, scenarios, mockups, and/or models for the development team. • Provides Tier 2 application support to uphold day-to-day business line operations. • Troubleshoots issues, assists in triage, and assesses risk and serves as escalation points for incident management. • Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with business line, other internal technical teams, and third-party service providers needed to improve Enterprise-wide software solutions.
