AI Automation Engineer

• Design and build multi-agent AI systems integrating LLMs for customer-facing workflows • Develop and maintain N8N automation workflows • Integrate voice AI platforms with custom prompt logic for call bot behavior • Classify and prioritize automation use cases based on business impact • Ensure automated workflows reflect high-quality communication standards • Define, document, and test REST APIs for integration with CRMs and internal systems • Build and manage comprehensive API test suites in Postman and N8N • Collaborate with Development, Product, and QA teams to diagnose and escalate technical issues • Craft and iterate on LLM prompts for structured output generation • Identify recurring workflow gaps and propose preventive optimization actions • Contribute to internal technical documentation and support onboarding • Collaborate on initiatives to enhance customer experience

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in AI automation engineering, backend integration, or technical roles in digital or SaaS environments
  • Proven experience building and maintaining automation workflows in N8N or equivalent platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience working with REST APIs — design, integration, testing, and documentation
  • Building APIs is a plus
  • Deep understanding of REST API design principles
  • Proficiency with N8N
  • Experience with ZenDesk, HelpScout, Freshdesk or LiveAgent CRM platforms
  • Strong expertise in prompt engineering and Generative AI (LLMs)
  • Proficiency with Postman for API testing
  • Solid understanding of JSON data structures
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript and Python
  • Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration frameworks is nice to have
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (advanced level); Spanish is a plus but not mandatory
