Qualifications - 3+ years of hands-on experience delivering BI solutions. - Strong expertise in Qlik Sense (on-prem and/or SaaS). - Proficiency in reading, debugging, and improving Qlik load scripts, data models, and front-end performance. - Practical background in supporting BI in a production/BAU context, including incidents, SLAs, and a stability-first mindset. - Experience working with modern data warehouses (preferably Snowflake) and SQL-based data validation. - Strong communication skills for cross-functional work with Product Leads, SMEs, QA, and Platform Ops. - Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level). Requirements - Nice to have: Exposure to governance and access controls (e.g., Qlik Section Access concepts, SOX-like control environments). - Familiarity with test automation and data reconciliation tooling for BI validation. - Experience modernising BI estates, including rationalisation, rebuild patterns, and semantic layer concepts.

• Design, build, and maintain gold-layer data models and a governed metrics layer in Snowflake using dbt — clean, tested, documented, and version-controlled. • Establish metric definitions as the single source of truth: calculated once, reused everywhere, with clear ownership and change management. • Push transformation and calculation logic upstream into the warehouse so the consumption layer stays simple, consistent, and high-trust — eliminating per-dashboard logic and manual rework. • Partner with data engineering on the boundary between raw/silver pipelines (theirs) and the gold/metrics layer (yours). • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics experiences in our enterprise BI platform that sit on top of governed metrics rather than reinventing logic. • Translate business questions into both the underlying metric and the visualization that communicates it. • Champion data quality, consistency, and trust across all delivered analytics, ensuring numbers hold up under scrutiny.
