Job Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer

Trucordia

Role Description We’re building a new product engineering team to create AI-powered platforms from scratch. Our AI Personal Lines team has already shown what’s possible, standing up cloud infrastructure and delivering a production-ready application in a matter of weeks. We’re hiring for a senior full stack engineer to help scale that approach. You’ll work across the stack, integrate AI and third-party services, and ship in a secure cloud environment. You’ll join a small, high-trust team where speed, ownership, and delivery matter. Duties and Responsibilities: - Build full-stack features across a TypeScript and Next.js front end and a cloud-based back end, using a server-side AI proxy approach to keep API calls and secrets out of the browser. - Integrate AI and LLM capabilities, including OpenAI APIs, retrieval-augmented generation, conversational flows, and agent frameworks like LangGraph, along with GPT actions and MCP servers. - Stand up and connect cloud infrastructure on Azure, including Functions (Python), Service Bus, Storage, API Management, Front Door, and B2C authentication. - Build and maintain integrations with external APIs for things like quoting, identity, document retrieval, and third-party data. Handle authentication, validation, and the edge cases that come with real-world usage. - Take ownership of code as it moves from sandbox to dev to staging to production, using CI/CD, clear branching practices, automated tests, and quality checks. - Partner with security to support a hardened architecture, including penetration testing and compliance requirements. - Work in a fast-paced, AI-supported development workflow with daily standups and Jira tracking, and troubleshoot production issues as they come up. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience building and shipping production web applications as a full stack engineer. - Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with a modern React framework, ideally Next.js, along with working experience in Python. - Hands-on cloud experience, preferably in Azure including Functions, Service Bus, Storage, API Management, Front Door, and B2C. Strong AWS or GCP experience is also a good fit. - Experience integrating third-party REST APIs, including authentication, rate limiting, and handling real-world, inconsistent payloads. - Security-minded engineering habits, including proper handling of secrets, use of request proxying, and a clear understanding of network boundaries. - Comfort working with CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and promoting code through multiple environments. - Proven ability to move quickly and deliver in ambiguous, fast-changing environments as part of a small team. Requirements - Nice to Have: Insurance, fintech, or other regulated-industry experience. - Infrastructure-as-code and cloud-architecture depth. - Experience integrating many external vendors or partners in parallel under time pressure. Benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision - Life and AD&D insurance - FSA / HSA - Commuter & Child Care FSA - Cancer Support Benefits - Pet Insurance - Accident & Critical Illness - Hospital Indemnity - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - 11 Paid Holidays - Flexible PTO - 401K

Role Description We're looking for a senior software engineer to build and own the production systems and shared frameworks behind our modeling platform. You'll work primarily in Python and Rust to keep our real-time products fast, reliable, and scalable. This is a remote position. This is a software engineering role, not a data science role — you'll partner closely with data scientists and own the systems their models run on. We're looking for engineering depth, not modeling. Duties - Build, test, debug, and deploy production-grade components and services powering our real-time sports betting and analytics products. - Own the deployment and operation of your own services on Kubernetes within a larger platform — this is service ownership within a shared ecosystem, not cluster administration or a DevOps function. - Proactively improve and extend our Rust codebase. - Trace and resolve the root causes of data inaccuracies across pipeline dependencies and our Python codebase. - Set up and maintain alerting, monitoring, and observability for the services you own. - Build and maintain the shared frameworks and services that let our models scale in production, and accelerate their adoption across teams. - Apply large-scale data processing techniques to build scalable, innovative sports betting products. - Examine and improve the integration and scaling of our real-time operations, simulations, and experiments. - Develop solutions for open-ended problems where information is incomplete and no precedent exists. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field. - 5–7 years building and shipping production software, with a strong backend / distributed systems focus. - Advanced Python experience (Rust experience strongly preferred). - Comfortable owning your own services in a Kubernetes environment. - Experience setting up alerting and monitoring systems. - Experience with Kafka (or a comparable streaming / event platform). - Proficiency with SQL. - Experience with source control (GitHub) and related CI/CD processes. - Experience working in AWS environments. - Track record of technical leadership and partnering across teams on complex, ambiguous problems. - Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Requirements - Base salary: Starting at $170,000 - DOE. Company Description Swish Analytics is a sports analytics, betting and fantasy startup building the next generation of predictive sports analytics data products. We believe that oddsmaking is a challenge rooted in engineering, mathematics, and sports betting expertise; not intuition. We're looking for team-oriented individuals with an authentic passion for accurate and predictive real-time data who can execute in a fast-paced, creative, and continually-evolving environment without sacrificing technical excellence. Our challenges are unique, so we hope you are comfortable in uncharted territory and passionate about building systems to support products across a variety of industries and consumer/enterprise clients.
