• Develop and Deliver Superior Offerings to International and Commercial Clients • Work with the executive team to develop compelling and innovative technical solutions that solve client problems, positioning Orbis product and service offerings (Catalyst, Pulse, Discovery) to build programs and deliver better outcomes for client missions • Serve as the principal technical strategist for Orbis international and commercial portfolio: identify opportunities, assess technical feasibility, shape solution strategies, and develop proposals that position Orbis to win • Coordinate closely with Product and Service Managers to understand product and service offerings; seek opportunities to drive new business and create synergies through capability reuse across programs and regions • Contribute to program proposals, concept pitches, and pricing reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, alignment with firm quality standards, and clear articulation of the value Orbis delivers • Represent Orbis at international industry forums, conferences, and partner engagements to build brand presence, gather competitive intelligence, and develop new opportunities in target markets • Provide oversight of the end-to-end technical delivery operations across international and commercial programs, ensuring on-time, on-budget, on-mission execution from solution design through deployment and sustainment • Architect solutions that maximize reuse of Orbis core products while meeting each clients unique operational requirements, integration needs, and deployment environment • Anticipate client requirements and emerging needs to stay ahead of the mission and keep delivery teams focused on proactive, high-value outcomes • Oversee solution implementation and integration, working closely with Product and Delivery teams to align roadmaps, manage resource constraints, and sequence deliverables across multiple concurrent programs • Drive automation of deployment, testing, and release-management processes to maximize repeatability, minimize risk, and deliver consistent quality across distributed international environments • Track implementation metrics, surface risks early, and drive swift resolution in partnership with program managers and client stakeholders • Operate as an embedded member of the operations and delivery organization, identifying opportunities to refine, streamline, and strengthen technical delivery across programs.

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations between different systems and platforms using APIs and other integration technologies. • Build and support data pipelines that enable the movement and availability of customer data across platforms. • Work with customer data platforms (CDPs) and related technologies to support customer data management and activation initiatives. • Implement solutions for data matching, identity resolution, and the management of customer identifiers across different systems. • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across integrated platforms. • Troubleshoot integration issues and identify opportunities to improve existing processes. • Collaborate with engineering, data, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. • Support secure handling of customer data, including working with encrypted or hashed identifiers.

• Capture and assess client requirements and perform gap/fit analysis against possible solutions. • Education of clients, potential clients, and colleagues in the scope, features and operation of our solutions. • Assist the sales team with bids and tenders for new clients, providing a technical perspective and guidance as to suitability of solutions for each client. • Coordinate with other technical resources to provide depth of understanding when required. • Assist the sales team in creating and running POCs, POVs. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the current features and roadmap of our core offerings and associated products. • Act as a consultant for customers and partners to ensure successful deployments and support. • Maintain an up to date understanding of future technology trends.

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-level system integrations connecting customer platforms through EDI, APIs, and event-driven architectures • Serve as the technical authority responsible for setting architectural standards and leading integration projects from conception through deployment • Design and architect enterprise-level EDI platforms from the ground up with comprehensive knowledge of all Sterling Integrator components • Develop and optimize complex business processes using BPML/BPML2 for orchestration and workflow automation • Create advanced EDI maps using Sterling Map Editor supporting X12, EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, and XML standards • Implement high-volume translation, enveloping/de-enveloping, and compliance validation processes • Configure and optimize Sterling Integrator services, adapters, code lists, and business processes • Perform system administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting using Sterling logs, message tracking, and monitoring tools • Architect and implement secure B2B communication protocols including AS2, SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and OFTP2 • Design and develop EDI integrations supporting X12, EDIFACT, XML/EDI, and CICA standards • Build REST and SOAP API integrations with expertise in XML, JSON, XSLT, and XPath • Implement secure communications including TLS/SSL handshake configuration, PGP/GPG encryption, and certificate lifecycle management • Design any-to-any mapping solutions connecting diverse data formats and systems • Lead integration projects connecting IBM Sterling with Oracle ERP and other enterprise applications • Develop EDI mapping solutions for Oracle with deep understanding of Oracle data structures and business processes • Design event-driven integrations enabling real-time data synchronization across platforms • Implement customer onboarding workflows and self-service capabilities • Support and maintain IBM Sterling Business Suite components including: Sterling B2B Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Control Center, Sterling External Authentication Server, Sterling Secure Proxy, Sterling Connect:Direct • Perform system administration tasks including user management, security configuration, and system monitoring • Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability and scalability • Design cloud-based Sterling deployments on AWS, GCP, or Azure platforms • Lead EDI migration projects from on-premises to cloud environments • Implement cloud-native integration patterns and best practices • Optimize Sterling architecture for cloud scalability, resilience, and cost-efficiency • Set architectural standards and best practices for integration projects. • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to design patterns and coding standards • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Document architecture decisions, integration patterns, and technical specifications • Perform advanced troubleshooting of Sterling B2B Integrator issues using logs, message tracking, and diagnostic tools • Resolve complex integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity issues • Analyze network connections, ports, database configurations, and protocol-specific problems • Provide production support and incident resolution for critical integration workflows.
