Software Engineering Intern – Summer 2026

• As a Monarch intern, you’ll be given hands-on, self driven project that makes a real business impact. This project will be decided with your manager and mentor based on your interests and the company’s needs.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, preferably in Computer Science or a related field, with an anticipated graduation year of 2026 or 2027.
- Available to work for 8 weeks during Summer 2026, beginning in June.
- Prior internship experience developing and launching products.
- Experience with modern programming languages (Python, Typescript, Go), frameworks (Django, React, React Native), tools (e.g. Git), and comfort with modern agentic engineering (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, etc).
- Interest or experience in areas like cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, security tooling, or developer experience (Foundations Team).
- Interest or experience in common AI technologies: LLMs, agents, and evaluations.
- A product-oriented mindset and excitement about building tools that people love.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
