Avicado is seeking a Leasing Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to support one of our largest hyperscale technology clients. In this role, you will partner with engineering, legal, construction, and real estate stakeholders to manage the due diligence and execution of leased data center projects. You'll be responsible for keeping multiple high-priority initiatives moving simultaneously while ensuring risks are identified; stakeholders remain aligned, and critical milestones are achieved. What you’ll do… - Program & Project Management - Lead multiple concurrent leasing and due diligence workstreams from initiation through execution. - Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, and action trackers. - Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure projects remain on schedule. - Escalate risks, remove blockers, and facilitate timely decision-making. - Due Diligence & Stakeholder Coordination - Coordinate end-to-end due diligence activities for leased data center opportunities. - Facilitate collaboration between engineering, construction, legal, real estate, and operations teams. - Gather, organize, and communicate technical feedback throughout the review process. - Ensure all required documentation and approvals are completed before lease execution. - Support structured handoffs to downstream execution teams. - Lease Execution Support - Partner with lease negotiators and legal teams throughout contract execution. - Track outstanding lease items, ownership, approvals, and deliverables. - Coordinate negotiation meetings and follow up on action items. - Support compliance reviews, vendor assessments, and internal approval workflows. - Reporting & Process Improvement - Maintain dashboards, trackers, and status reports across multiple active projects. - Present program updates, risks, and recommendations to leadership. - Continuously improve documentation, templates, and operational processes. - Capture lessons learned and recommend process improvements for future programs. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Real Estate, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). - 4+ years of experience managing complex technical or infrastructure projects. - Strong project management experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams. - Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in fast-paced environments. - Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to prioritize competing demands and remain organized under pressure. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. Requirements - Background in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, or similar). - Experience supporting commercial real estate, construction, infrastructure, or data center projects. - Experience coordinating lease negotiations or technical due diligence activities. - Familiarity with data center infrastructure, utilities, or large capital projects. - Experience working in highly matrixed organizations. - Experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
