• Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central/NAV, keeping current with new product capabilities, release features, and Microsoft best practices. • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, conduct requirement gathering workshops, and analyze business processes. • Translate business requirements into scalable functional and technical solution designs. • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central modules based on business requirements and industry best practices. • Identify standard functionality, customization, extension, and integration opportunities to meet client needs. • Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FSDs), solution design documents, process flows, and user documentation. • Collaborate with technical teams on AL development, customizations, integrations, and extension development. • Support data migration, system upgrades, cloud migration initiatives, and application modernization projects. • Participate in solution architecture discussions and provide recommendations aligned with Microsoft's best practices. • Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment planning, and go-live activities. • Conduct user training sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer to business users and support teams. • Provide post-go-live support, issue analysis, and solution optimization recommendations. • Collaborate effectively with project managers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to internal and external stakeholders. • Support global implementations while working closely with onshore, offshore, and third-party implementation teams. • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize business processes using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
Job Requirements
- Total Experience 10+ Years
- Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with consulting and implementation.
- Strong experience delivering end-to-end implementations, upgrades, enhancements, support, and optimization projects.
- Proven experience working as a Techno-Functional Consultant, Lead Consultant, or Solution Consultant on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central projects.
- Strong functional expertise across one or more Business Central modules: Finance & Accounting, General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, Purchasing, Sales & Distribution, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Jobs / Project Management, Manufacturing (Preferred)
- Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Strong technical understanding of AL Development & Extensions, C/AL, APIs and Web Services, Business Central Integrations, Data Migration and Configuration Packages, Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), Power BI (Preferred), Copilot Studio
- Hands-on experience with Business Central Cloud implementations and NAV to Business Central upgrade projects.
- Experience working with integrations involving Microsoft 365, Azure Services, and third-party applications is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent client-facing consulting, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with global clients, distributed delivery teams, and Agile project methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced project environment.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications (MB-800, MB-820, or equivalent) are preferred.
- Willingness to travel based on project requirements.
