Role Description DispatchHealth is seeking an exceptional leader to run the accounting organization, provide the management team and shareholders with insight into operational performance, and ensure excellence in assigned administrative functions across the company. The Controller will also drive important projects to support the growth and sustainability of the company. The Controller will have the opportunity to define the structure of the accounting function and build a team that delivers quality results. This person will create processes and policies that ensure timely, accurate financial reporting, facilitate the smooth operation of financial systems, and support the company's rapid growth while maintaining strong cost discipline. Qualifications - 10+ years accounting experience, including at least 3 years of experience in public accounting, ideally at a national firm - Previous experience as a Controller - Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - CPA certification - Healthcare experience preferred - NetSuite experience preferred - Excellent Excel skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple projects to manage - Proven skill in building and motivating teams Requirements - Optimize the NetSuite accounting system, including the integration and/or upgrade of multiple NetSuite instances - Improve the generation of monthly reporting, including optimizing the use of Adaptive Planning - Perform an efficient monthly accounting close - Manage accounting functions on a day-to-day basis, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting - Manage partner billing and collections - Enhance the accounting department's use of automation, integrating automation (e.g. AI, RPA, and other tools) into accounting processes and procedures - Perform technical accounting research and resolution as necessary - Assist the CFO and FP&A team with the annual budgeting process and support the development of forecasts to provide an accurate projection of financial performance - Oversee the accounting aspects of future mergers or acquisitions - Direct the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP, including consolidation of multiple entities - Review the monthly management financial reporting package, including variance analysis - Support the creation of periodic Board of Directors reporting packages - Distribute financial reports to third-party constituents, including major investors, JV partners, etc. - Manage the annual financial audit process performed by the company's independent CPA firm - Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting as required - Develop, analyze, document, and implement internal controls - Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting and finance policies, processes, and procedures to comply with US GAAP and/or best practices - Seek opportunities to revise or create new policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting group - Responsible for local, state, and federal tax compliance and reporting - Manage debt covenant reporting - Establish and implement short- and long-range accounting department goals, objectives, policies, and procedures - In conjunction with the VP of Human Resources, ensure accurate and timely payroll processing - Manage the financial aspects of employee benefits, including health insurance and the 401(k) program - Work with the CFO and CLO to ensure adequate and appropriate insurance coverage - Manage projects and initiatives assigned Benefits - Base salary range: $190K - $220K Company Description DispatchHealth is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
