• As an SDET III, you are a technical leader and strategic driver of quality within the Subsplash Ultimate Engagement Platform. • Reporting to the Release and QA Manager, you are responsible for architecting the systems that ensure platform integrity and reliability. • You will develop a deep, end-to-end mastery of our ecosystem—including the Dashboard, APIs, microservices, and databases—to ensure our tools work harmoniously to serve our clients. • Establish and execute a strategic automation roadmap that scales across multiple projects and teams. • Translate complex testing results and quality metrics into actionable insights for engineering leadership. • Your work drives the completion of beautiful, extensible software that delights real people. • Beyond your technical contributions, you are a champion for quality who mentors fellow engineers and defines the best practices that advance our organization’s technical depth and maturity.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of testing experience in a team-based environment, with at least 3+ years as a full-time SDET or Software Automation Engineer, including advanced knowledge of:
  • Software automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium
  • Continuous integration environments such as Jenkins, TravisCI, or GitLab
  • One or more programming or scripting languages (Go or Java preferred)
  • API and microservices architectures
  • Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Copilot, Codex, Opus 4.6+ to generate automated tests
  • Proven ability to architect and scale automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines for complex, distributed systems
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and guiding QA Engineers transitioning into automation-focused roles
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on execution and long-term quality vision
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts and quality outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • And finally… you know, and can deliver, at least one hilarious yet appropriate joke, timed perfectly to lighten the mood without derailing the meeting 😄

About the Team The Subsplash Product & Engineering Team is responsible for all products that the company develops including the App Platform and Merchant Services. We are a team of designers, developers, and coordinators, creating polished experiences for our clients and end users. The P&E Team is responsible for the entire user experience including: End-User Mobile Apps, the Subsplash Dashboard (our Content Management System), Subsplash Giving (Our Donation and Merchant Services Platform), Media services, the Web App, backend data feeds, analytics, and more.
