• Develop and maintain Terraform modules for Snowflake account management, including roles, warehouses, databases, grants, and integrations • Implement and manage role-based access controls (RBAC), data governance tags, and dynamic masking policies in Snowflake using Infrastructure as Code • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake infrastructure changes using GitHub Actions • Manage Snowflake security configurations including network policies, service accounts, and identity provider integrations • Optimize Snowflake resource utilization, warehouse performance, and cost efficiency • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to define and enforce data governance policies and data classification standards • Build monitoring and alerting for infrastructure drift detection and compliance • Contribute to data lake architecture improvements, including open table format adoption (e.g., Apache Iceberg)

• Build and maintain production-grade automation using Ansible Terraform and Go • Develop and enhance core services behind VKE VLB (HAProxy) VCR (Container Registry) and Inference • Engage deeply with Kubernetes internals (scheduler kubelet controllers CRDs) • Design implement and improve container runtime integrations (containerd runc OCI) • Architect CI/CD improvements and deployment pipelines for large-scale systems • Troubleshoot complex issues across networking load balancing containers and distributed systems • Harden platform infrastructure through security best practices including vulnerability scanning container image signing admission controllers and secrets management • Contribute directly to Vultr's open-source ecosystem (terraform provider crossplane vultr-cli govultr) • Improve overall reliability observability and operability of cloud-native services • Collaborate with product platform and infrastructure teams on feature delivery

• Learn and contribute to production infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform • Assist in building and maintaining cloud-native services across VKE VLB and VCR • Develop hands-on skills with Kubernetes and container runtimes through guided project work • Write and improve tooling and scripts (Go, Python, Bash) to support platform operations • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows for platform services • Dig into issues across networking containers and Linux systems with curiosity and persistence • Contribute to Vultr's open-source tools and libraries with guidance from senior engineers • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response as you build operational experience
