Training Design Intern
GuidePoint Security
• Assist in creating training materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training resources, videos, and job aids. This may include storytelling and branching scenarios to create more engaging content. • Collaborate with the GuidePoint Learning team to analyze training needs, design curriculum, and ensure that content aligns with learning objectives and outcomes. • Support the development of multimedia elements, including graphics, animations, and videos, to enhance training content. • Assist in uploading and managing training content in the LMS, ensuring accessibility and ease of use for employees. • Participate in the evaluation of training programs, collect feedback from participants, and make necessary improvements based on feedback and data analysis. • Work on multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to meet project deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's or Master's program in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- Have a portfolio of between 3-5 artifacts.
- Proficiency in using instructional design tools, such as Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia, Claude Design, etc.
- Experience with a corporate LMS, such as Docebo, is preferred.
- Microsoft Office skills appropriate to course development.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills.
- Creativity and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
