Senior Technical Accounting Associate
Teamshares
• Assess differences between acquired company accounting policies and Teamshares accounting policy, developing and implementing necessary amendments to ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate standards. • Establish and lead monthly & quarterly review processes to ensure existing companies maintain accounting compliance. • Participate in quarter-end and year-end closes by requesting and reviewing network company support, and proposing adjustments as necessary. • Assist in coordination of audit procedures, liaising with external auditors and network companies to obtain support and prepare analysis as needed. • Assist in the review of lease agreements and determination of accounting treatment under ASC 842. • Perform technical reviews of domestic & international stock compensation plans and build quarterly accounting adjustment processes. • Support the accounting team with purchase price accounting. • This will include calculating purchase price adjustments based on account analysis and review of pre- and post-close activities. • Conduct technical accounting research on an ad hoc basis to support accounting issues that arise on a deal-by-deal basis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or similar field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of audit, accounting advisory, or other relevant experience.
- CPA preferred

We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Fund Accountant to support and help lead accounting and financial reporting across Ondo’s tokenized products (OUSG, USDY, OGM). This role will own significant portions of daily accounting, close processes, audit support, and system infrastructure while partnering closely with the Controller to scale the function. This is a high-responsibility role in a fast-moving environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in the details, managing complex transaction flows, and exercising judgment in new or ambiguous situations. This individual should be capable of stepping in to oversee the accounting function if needed. Responsibilities Portfolio & Trade Accounting - Oversee daily NAV validation and reconciliation processes across multiple product structures. - Review and book high-volume trade activity across broker and on-chain systems. - Perform and review cash, position, pricing, and corporate action reconciliations. - Support management fee, servicing fee, and expense allocations.Investigate and resolve breaks in coordination with Investment Operations and Engineering. Financial Close & Reporting - Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close. - Prepare and review journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation. - Reconcile subledgers to the GL and analyze variances. - Assist in preparation of financial statements and investor reporting packages. - Support enhanced reporting standards associated with external audits and public disclosures. Audit, Controls & Regulatory Support - Lead preparation of audit support schedules and coordinate directly with external auditors. - Strengthen documentation standards and internal control processes. - Support evolving reporting requirements, including enhanced audit procedures and SEC-facing disclosures. - Help formalize monthly close, review, and control checklists. Systems & Infrastructure - Play a central role in Geneva implementation and ongoing system configuration. - Validate data feeds from broker, OMS, and on-chain sources. - Design and document scalable accounting workflows. - Identify automation opportunities and reduce manual reconciliation risk. Cross-Functional Representation - Participate in product scoping and execution discussions where accounting impact is relevant. - Assess and articulate accounting implications of new features (e.g., margin, derivatives, structured tokens). - Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Investment Ops, and Engineering to ensure accounting considerations are incorporated early in product design.
