Regional Interior Design Assistant
Lennar
• Assist Interior Designers with all aspects of project execution, including conceptual design, space planning, material selection, and procurement • Assist with CAD drafting and space planning tasks under the guidance of senior designers and/or managers • Maintain material library, organizing samples, catalogs, and resources for easy access and reference by the design team • Communicate with vendors on custom order quotes and lead times and assist designers with sourcing and procurement efforts as needed • Prepare and maintain project documentation including POs, meeting notes and agendas, presentations, and follow up materials as needed • Attend Model installations as necessary
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree preferred
- 1-3 years Interior Design or related experience
- Proficient in CAD, Photoshop, In-Design, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint on Macintosh platform
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a professional attitude
- Excellent work ethic, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Copes well under pressure and can accept constructive feedback
- California Motor Vehicle License – unrestricted
- Moderate regional travel (including overnight trips and flights) required
