• Architect systems and write the code that makes them real, bringing EvolutionIQ's AI-native products into CCC's auto casualty business. • Dig into complex, sometimes messy legacy systems; decide what to rebuild, replace, or keep; and drive that work hands-on. • Build backend architectures that hold up in production, moving between fast prototypes and stable, long-lived systems, with AI and agentic tools core to how you work. • Set the engineering standard (best practices, design docs, code reviews, consistency) in close partnership with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering.

• Build and enhance enterprise SaaS applications across EvolutionIQ and CCC products, spending the majority of your time writing production code. • Modernize existing systems by working through complex legacy platforms while contributing to new product development and scalable backend services. • Leverage AI-assisted and agentic engineering tools to accelerate development, improve engineering productivity, and rapidly prototype new ideas. • Partner closely with Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering to deliver scalable, intuitive applications while contributing to technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

• Champion AI-driven approaches to software architecture, solution design, development workflows, and product delivery. • Execute software architecture deliverables and take hands-on ownership of delivering critical initiatives across the product portfolio, ensuring scalability, reliability, extensibility, and maintainability. • Participate in the design review process within the Product organization, guiding architectural principles, frameworks, and standards in collaboration with engineering teams. • Provide architectural leadership for software design and implementation, ensuring alignment across the Product organization through effective communication and collaboration. • Work closely with business stakeholders and foster strong cross-functional partnerships. • Provide technical leadership to development and test engineering teams, driving innovation and engineering excellence. • Drive research and execution of Proof of Concepts (PoCs) on leading-edge AI technologies, including AI-powered solutions and intelligent automation, and recommend the best approaches for adoption across the product portfolio. • Participate in the engineering on-call rotation and support production systems by helping troubleshoot critical issues, drive root cause analysis, and ensure platform reliability and availability.
