• Build and deliver features across the platform services that make up Stacklok Enterprise, including the runtime, Kubernetes operator, gateway, and registry • Fix bugs and harden platform systems for enterprise production use, improving stability across customer deployments • Write testable, readable code that accounts for edge cases and error handling, and produce clear design docs for the work you take on • Review pull requests and contribute to design discussions, working alongside technical leads, product, and fellow engineers on shared platform efforts • Plan and sequence your own tasks and small epics independently, knowing when to pull in a teammate or escalate a design question • Contribute to the open-source ToolHive codebase and collaborate with community contributors on shared work.

• Own end-to-end cloud architecture decisions across AWS and Azure, including multi-account AWS environments (Control Tower, cross-account networking, resource sharing, IAM structures) and the existing Azure footprint, with minimal ramp-up time in a multi-cloud environment. • Lead technical execution on major infrastructure initiatives independently, without requiring architectural supervision; most immediately, the Google Workspace → Microsoft 365 migration (group/permissions reconciliation, dependency remediation). • Design and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) at scale across a rapidly growing set of repositories and environments, setting patterns other engineers build against. • Own cross-cloud networking: transit routing, VPC endpoints, cloud-to-cloud peering, load balancer/health-path configuration, and multi-region connectivity. • Serve as a senior technical resource and mentor for Engineer II/III-level staff; a force multiplier, not a peer requiring equivalent mentorship. • Support the organization's compliance posture (HITRUST/SOC2, HIPAA) from an infrastructure perspective; access controls, logging/monitoring, and secure architecture review. • Engage credibly with external architecture stakeholders (security, compliance, vendor architects) at a level reflecting the program's maturity. • Participate in on-call/incident response for high-priority infrastructure issues.

• You'll own the Data Privacy Orchestrator, the platform 15+ areas and 1M+ members depend on to handle personal data safely. • Your job is to build safe-by-default abstractions at scale and enable every area to run its own data lifecycle, so the platform no longer depends on one person. • Own and run the platform: its core engine, safety mechanisms (preview/dry-run, audit trail), and operational health (deploys, on-call, observability). • Build the paved road: docs, templates, and self-serve tooling so any area plugs in and manages its own data rules, you build the capability, not do the work for them. • Bridge across areas: align legal, security, data, and product on requirements; resolve deletion-ordering trade-offs. Each area stays accountable for its own data. • Extend coverage across data stores and third-party systems as Alan expands into new countries.
