• Be the face of TailorMed to our customers and patients • Live, demonstrate and grow our company values • Conduct virtual consultations with patients and gather information to support applications using judgment and discretion to determine the most appropriate resources and support programs for each case • Complete applications on patients’ behalf and track status until a determination is made, maintaining communication with the patient, recognizing that these interactions directly impact patient satisfaction and the financial health of our customers • Collaborate with providers to ensure the smooth running of the service, proactively identifying workflow improvements that can increase efficiency and reduce delays in care • Escalate issues internally and with the client if needed, to ensure swift resolution • Act as a super-user for the TailorMed platform, identifying enhancements to improve user experience and patient outcomes and contributing to feedback that may shape future product development and influence operational practices • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance • Meet productivity and quality standards, understanding that performance in this role directly supports customer retention and revenue generation • Lead with compassion and act with confidence

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a financial navigator/financial advocate role
  • Prior start-up, healthcare, or corporate experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry
  • Knowledge of insurances including Medicare/Medicaid and commercial insurance including rules and regulations
  • Experience submitting claims to copay/manufacturer programs
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent career experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 10, and HCPC codes
  • Positive attitude, empathy, and high energy
  • Superb written and communication skills
  • High level of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Ability to effectively and empathetically communicate with newly diagnosed applicants
  • Ability to work in a high volume caseload environment and deal effectively with rapidly changing priorities
  • Desire to be involved in building this function and to be a valued member of a growing team

This team conducts tax due diligence and tax transaction structuring/modeling engagements and supports clients across a wide range of industries.
