Strategic Account Executive

Ping Identity

• Create, implement, measure and review a personal plan that drives achievement of performance goals aligned to the regional sales strategy. • Position and articulate our value proposition to customers to maximize the business opportunity. • Negotiate and close complex contracts with the support of global partners. • Report on sales activity and forecasts to senior management. • Prepare indicative subscription pricing and customer offers, including reviewing broader opportunities such as training and professional services modules, and guides request for proposal responses. • Provides customer feedback to marketing, customer success, product management, and engineering teams. • Work collaboratively to acquire additional/specialist resources as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Significant quota-carrying experience selling enterprise software solutions.
  • Proven ability to win net new business.
  • Results-oriented with multiple years meeting or exceeding quota within the market.
  • Sustainable record of signing strategic and large projects, with long and complex sales cycles.
  • A combination of experience in selling to both public and private sector accounts is preferred.
  • Established sector-related C level contacts.
  • Successful record dealing with strategic buyers.
  • Deep knowledge of the relevant key drivers of change in the industry.
  • Background working with regional/national/global partners and system integrators.
  • Prior training and experience in value selling and account planning methodologies.
  • Fluent Dutch language skills
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands

Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in SaaS subscription-based sales. - Demonstrated success in quota-carrying sales roles, preferably within the B2B, SaaS, HR Technology sector, ideally in pre-employment assessment, employee development, or disruptive technology. - Experience selling to SMB, Mid-Market organizations, and Enterprise experience is a plus. - Proven ability to build your own pipeline by sourcing your own opportunities. Requirements - Recognized for exceptional sales achievements and consistently exceeding targets – especially in formalized recognition programs like President’s Club. - A strong track record of consistently exceeding quota, ideally in an outside sales or sales leadership position. - Demonstrated ability to achieve long-term success and growth within previous roles. - Extensive experience selling B2B, SaaS, HR technology solutions (Recruiting, HCM, LMS, etc). - Deep understanding of the pains felt by our HR, Recruiting, and Employee Development buyers. - Recognized as a subject matter expert within your organization with experience coaching or mentoring others. - Naturally curious and creative in your approach to solving problems.
