Role Description Are you fluent in Korean and passionate about adapting stories for young audiences? We’re looking for a Freelance Korean Translator to translate and refine our video scripts and descriptions from English to Korean. Join our team of Pandas and help us spread joy, laughter, and creativity to millions worldwide. - Translate scripts from English to Korean using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Eleven Labs; - Proofread and refine AI-generated translations to ensure natural and accurate language; - Maintain the original meaning and tone of the source material while adapting sentence length for dubbing suitability; - Ensure translations are culturally relevant and engaging for the local Korean audience; - Deliver high-quality translations on demand and meet set deadlines; - Utilize AI-based voice generation tools (e.g. Eleven Labs) to create high-quality voiceovers for YouTube video content; - Ensure that voiceovers match the tone and style of each video project, and the VO audio export is synced with the video timeline; - Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications - Proven experience translating from English to Korean; - Familiarity with AI tools for translation assistance & AI voice generation tools and software is a plus; - Strong attention to detail, ensuring the translated/generated text reflects the tone and meaning of the original script; - Ability to read, listen, and comprehend source material thoroughly; - Experience translating or localizing content for a young audience is a plus; - Knowledge of Korean pop culture, slang, idioms, and trendy terms is an advantage; - Self-motivated, reliable, and able to deliver quality work independently.
