Senior Director, Technology Optimization – Enhancement

• Develop and execute a multi-year technology optimization roadmap aligned with operational growth and acquisition integration. • Evaluate current systems and identify performance gaps, redundancies, and enhancement opportunities. • Translate business needs into scalable system improvements that drive measurable ROI. • Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on technology performance, integration strategy, and system enhancement initiatives. • Establish KPIs that measure technology effectiveness, uptime, automation impact, and operational efficiency. • Oversee optimization of enterprise and distributed site technology platforms including: Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), POS systems and payment integrations, Membership and subscription platforms, Tunnel controllers and loT-connected wash equipment, Network connectivity and device management. • Lead system standardization across newly acquired locations. • Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of site-impacting technology. • Strengthen disaster recovery and business continuity protocols across corporate and field systems. • Identify and eliminate manual workflows through automation and system integration. • Lead cross-platform integrations between ERP, HRIS, CRM, BI, membership, and operational systems. • Standardize reporting structures to reduce manual data pulls and shadow systems. • Improve cross-functional data flow between Operations, Finance, HR, and Analytics. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance field execution and corporate reporting accuracy. • Partner with Business Intelligence and Finance teams to ensure enterprise data architecture supports scalable operational analytics and decision-making. • Enable advanced analytics initiatives that support operational forecasting, performance management, and strategic planning. • Lead the identification, implementation, and adoption of AI-driven solutions to streamline operational, administrative, and reporting processes across corporate and field environments. • Champion a culture of data intelligence and AI adoption, enabling teams to leverage automation and machine learning to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes.

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
  • Experience optimizing technology in multi-location operational, retail, or service environments.
  • Demonstrated success improving system performance and driving automation.
  • Experience supporting acquisition integration, technology standardization, and AI implementation.
  • Strong background collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and Finance teams.
  • Enterprise databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar)
  • Cloud infrastructure platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Distributed-site network and infrastructure environments
  • ERP, HRIS, CRM, and operational system integrations
  • Data warehousing and BI ecosystems
  • Cybersecurity governance frameworks
  • POS/payment platforms and operational technology environments preferred

Job Description Location: US Pacific or Mountain Time Zones Overview: As Senior Director of IT – Supply Chain Systems, you will act as the strategic technology partner to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, and the Global Supply Chain leadership team. You will own the end-to-end systems architecture, platform selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of all systems that enable capital planning, supply planning, procurement, risk management, order management, logistics, fulfillment, and inventory optimization. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that directly influences COGS and OpEx reduction, supply continuity & agility, customer delivery performance, and inventory turns. Key Responsibilities - Partner with the CSCO and Supply Chain leadership team to translate business strategy into a 3 year supply-chain digital roadmap that delivers measurable financial outcomes. - Lead architecture discussions for all supply-chain-related systems (Advanced Planning Systems, S&OP/IBP, Supply Chain Risk, Fulfillment, Logistics, Transportation, Supplier Collaboration,... - Drive selection, configuration, and deployment of modern supply-chain planning and risk platforms (e.g., Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Resilinc, Riskmethods, Everstream, etc.). - Ruthlessly automate manual “drudgery” across planning, procurement, logistics and fulfillment and supplier management (RPA, low-code, AI/ML-driven exception management, predictive analytics). - Deliver proven, quantified results in: – Improving service levels, inventory turns, COGS, supplier collaboration, risk-based decisions, planning cycle time, and key customer-facing metrics. - Build and lead a high-performing team of architects, analysts, and engineers focused exclusively on supply chain outcomes. - Manage a multi-million-dollar portfolio of projects and operational budget with clear ROI and payback metrics. - Act as the bridge between Supply Chain and the broader CIO organization. Qualifications - Extensive of progressive IT leadership experience, with focused exclusively on vertically integrated supply chain systems in complex, build-to-order or high-mix manufacturing environments. - Proven track record of selecting and implementing modern Advanced Planning, Integrated Business Planning, Supply Chain Risk, Logistics, Transportation, and Supplier Collaboration platforms that delivered material inventory turns, and COGS improvements (must be able to show specific, quantified results). - Deep expertise in supply chain processes: PLM, MRP, S&OP/IBP, demand planning, capital planning, supply planning, sourcing, inventory optimization, multi-echelon inventory planning (MEIO), constraint-based planning. - Demonstrated success eliminating manual spreadsheets and “swivel-chair” processes through automation, workflow, and AI/ML. - Strong enterprise architecture experience (TOGAF or similar); ability to design resilient, scalable, scalable, cloud-first architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP). - Hands-on experience with best-of-breed planning and risk tools. - Experience in vertically-integrated manufacturing of complex, high-value, long-lead-time products (semiconductor, analytical instruments, medical devices, etc.). - Strong financial acumen; comfortable building business cases and presenting to C-level. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s/MBA strongly preferred.
