• Champion Salesforce adoption across the organization, helping teams build the confidence and habits to get real value from the system every day. • Guide new users through onboarding and run ongoing enablement sessions shaped around how each team actually works. • Build and maintain self-service resources, such as quick-start guides, FAQs, and short walkthroughs, so staff can find answers on their own. • Keep Salesforce data clean and reliable through regular audits, cleanup, and duplicate management. • Run recurring and one-time data imports — donations, campaigns, and partner/giving data — accurately and on schedule, including time-sensitive uploads tied to fundraising campaigns. • Build and maintain reports and dashboards that answer real questions for teams and leadership. • Prepare and structure data for external reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI.
Job Requirements
- 2–4+ years of experience working with Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
- A track record of supporting end users, leading training, or driving system adoption.
- Experience building reports and dashboards and keeping data clean and accurate.
- Comfort running data imports and working accurately with large or sensitive data sets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work comfortably with non-technical colleagues.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- The ability to translate business needs into practical, workable solutions in the system.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills when balancing requests from multiple teams.

Technology Product Manager, Salesforce

• Own and strategically evolve the Success and Support instance of Salesforce, ensuring it delivers scalable, high-quality, and future-ready solutions that enable business outcomes. • Act as the governing authority of Salesforce by defining the target architecture, solution direction, and design principles, and ensuring all work delivered across Business Analysts, development teams, and supporting product resources aligns to all best practices of Salesforce. • Accountable for building and continuously maturing a best-in-class instance of the Salesforce for Calix by leveraging standard platform capabilities, minimizing unnecessary customization, and driving solution decisions that maximize agility, speed, maintainability, and long-term value. • Maintain a deep and current command of trends, emerging technologies and industry best practices, translating that knowledge into a roadmap that keeps Calix’s internal capabilities ahead of the business demand. • Operate in close partnership with the IT organization, bridging strategic intent and technical execution, and serve as the connective tissue between platform capability decisions and the teams responsible for building, maintaining and scaling the underlying infrastructure.
• Own end-to-end administration of Abnormal's core Salesforce platform: user provisioning, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and org-wide security posture. • Serve as the principal owner of platform configuration: custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and Flow-based automation. • Design, build, and maintain custom development (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, SOQL) to extend the platform beyond what declarative tools alone can deliver. • Own the integration layer between Salesforce and third-party tools and AppExchange packages, including installation, upgrades, health monitoring, and troubleshooting. • Establish and enforce Salesforce security best practices: SSO/SCIM integration patterns, IP and login restrictions, least-privilege access, and regular access audits. • Manage the full Salesforce release lifecycle: sandbox strategy, change set or CI/CD deployment tooling, and evaluation and rollout of seasonal releases and new platform capabilities. • Monitor platform health and performance: API limits, technical debt, orphaned automations, and system reliability, proactively remediating risk before it becomes an incident. • Partner with IT, Security, and GRC to ensure Salesforce configuration and access controls support our SOC2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and FedRAMP compliance obligations.
