Sales Development Representative

• Collaborate closely with Sales Executives (SEs) to ensure a steady pipeline of prospects for achieving sales targets. • Identify and contact potential customers and qualify them. • Conduct SDR marketing, creating campaigns including email newsletters and social media posts that generate leads. • Effectively communicate the value of a product or service. • Schedule quality meetings for Sales Executives with prospects and qualified leads. • Develop account plans with SEs, targeting specific territories and implementing strategies to create new contacts. • Work closely with marketing and sales representatives to proactively determine the best leads for specific products or services. • Plan campaigns with marketing support to increase the effectiveness of prospecting, including tracking whether the prospect received the marketing attempt and gauging their level of interest. • Qualify and disqualify inbound leads: understand the inbound lead's needs, funnel correctly (including to the Sales Executive), and determine fit. • Keep the relationship warm for future opportunities if a lead isn't the right contact now. • Represent ReSource Pro's products and services, using comprehensive knowledge and consumer research to explain how our solutions meet prospective clients' needs. • Schedule appointments and follow up on qualified leads; plan with Sales Executives on meeting scheduling and follow-up cadence. • Proactively locate accounts not currently in Salesforce through research, cold calling, and prospecting. • Continually learn new technology to use programs and platforms effectively and apply that knowledge. • Use tools including software and platforms to record data and move leads through a pipeline. • Demonstrate data management and use of advanced functions and analytics for successful outreach and discovery reporting. • Monitor cadence effectively and use technology efficiently for outreach, scheduling, and development. • Actively participate in ReSource Pro's sales, product, and services training and development programs, and fully engage in department-level training programs. • Collaborate with Sales Executives to ensure sufficient pipeline for sales targets and learn from SEs to enhance the effectiveness of the role. • Contribute to a team effort by working collaboratively within Business Development and other departments, including Marketing. • Cross-collaborate to gain insights from marketing, product, and sales executives.
Job Requirements
- 2–3 years of B2B experience in sales or business development (required).
- 1–2 years of insurance industry experience (preferred).
- Proven track record of exceeding lead targets.
- Bachelor's degree (4 years) in Business, Business Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong results-oriented mindset, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated proficiency with technology, including Salesforce, to manage customer contacts, reporting activities, and conversations efficiently.
- Excellent sales instinct and the ability to engage in high-level conversations with prospects and qualified leads.
- Proactive and self-driven.
- Exceptional planning, methodical organizational skills, and time management.
- Strong research skills to identify accounts, contacts, territories, and effective communication channels.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a competitive environment and contribute to team success.
- Ability to think strategically and learn from SEs to enhance the effectiveness of the role.
- Strong technological ability.

Role Description Responsible for achieving annual sales and profitability targets via sales penetration in their assigned territory. Responsible for continuing project management and coordination between internal and external customers. This position requires operation of a Personal Vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report. - Driving business growth within territory with existing and incremental customers. - Establishes and expands relationships with owners and contractors. - Central point of contact for all territory renovation projects including but not limited to project management, due diligence, product sourcing, selection, and request for product (RFP)/Quoting. - Partners with credit to identify funding and ownership. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications - Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. - Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. - Certification is required in some areas.
