Role Description GovCIO is currently hiring for an experienced, senior tester to design and implement a testing strategy for a complex government program. This position will be 100% remote. - Designs, develops, and implements testing strategy, methods, and tools to ensure that the product will perform to specifications across the software development lifecycle. - Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating the product. - Designs test cases for test plans and creates test scenarios in which tests are carried out. - Compiles data, defines required changes, and reports defects and problems that occurred during the test process. - Implements and participates in the walkthrough of the product. - Automated testing may be used for leveling based on hiring manager discretion. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years of experience (or commensurate experience). - 5+ years of experience leading testing or QA teams within Agile development environments. - Strong experience reviewing and understanding application code in GitHub, particularly TypeScript-based applications. - Hands-on experience with browser automation tools such as Puppeteer, Playwright, and Selenium. - Experience using headless browser technologies for test automation. - Experience testing React-based front-end applications using frameworks such as Enzyme or Cucumber. - Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js testing frameworks such as Jest and related tooling. - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and DevSecOps practices. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. - Ability to explain complex technical testing concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Requirements - Ability to obtain and maintain a Suitability/Public Trust. Preferred Skills and Experience - Experience implementing enterprise-scale automation frameworks. - Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Understanding of AWS GovCloud infrastructure, data flows, and integrations. - Experience supporting federal programs or regulated environments. Posted Salary Range USD $140,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.

RESPONSIBILITIES - Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of laboratory test equipment and fixtures. - Support the execution of product and material testing according to established test plans and procedures. - Record, organize, and analyze test data, preparing basic charts, reports, and documentation. - Assist in assembling and disassembling products, materials, and equipment for evaluation and testing purposes. - Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and operational instructions under guidance. - Observe and evaluate test performance, documenting results accurately and reporting findings to engineers and laboratory staff. - Operate laboratory equipment, measuring instruments, and computer systems as directed. - Communicate professionally with internal teams and customers during test setup and evaluation activities. - Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within laboratory operations and processes. - Adhere to the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and all physical and digital security requirements. - Perform other duties and projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in the final year of study. - Available for a 3-6 month internship period. - Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Good verbal and written communication skills in English. - Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment. - Eagerness to learn laboratory testing methods, engineering processes, and industry standards. JOB DESCRIPTION - To ensure effective process and business performance, under minimal supervision, works with local operations and other staff to identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and develop and implement corrective actions. - Takes an active role in helping drive continuous improvement by developing quality metrics, including Statistical Process Controls, and analysis of data. - Develops basic to complex processes and process maps. - To fulfill accreditation, regulatory and business requirements, under minimal supervision, participates in, or leads operational process improvement through metrics, problem identification, root cause analysis and developing and implementing corrective actions. - To fulfill accreditation and regulatory requirements collaborates with Accreditation Services for planning and executing external assessments. - Manages local accreditation/regulatory external accreditations and assessments. - To fulfill accreditation and regulatory requirements plans and conducts internal audits to ISO standard requirements, local scheme requirements, as well as business related audits (ISO 27001) that have been assigned. - Facilitates resolution of non-conformances by identifying owners, working with staff with root cause analysis and appropriate corrective actions. - To achieve business results and performance requirements, designs, implements and maintains local Quality Systems under the supervision of Quality Engineering Management. - May also be responsible for local Quality support at one or more sites under the supervision of Quality Management. - Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices. - Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS - Preferred - University degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, or related field plus generally six years of directly related experience. - Detailed knowledge of quality systems and process improvement principles, tools and techniques including quality and business excellence models (e.g., ISO 9001, 17025, 17065, Lean Sigma, Baldrige / Shingo). - Demonstrated knowledge of auditing and CAPA Principles. - Demonstrated ability to conduct internal quality audits, root cause analysis and plan/implement corrective action. - Demonstrated ability to analyze data, to interact with all levels of the organization, and to present and facilitate discussions of the findings. - Ability to lead improvement teams to develop mid-level to complex processes and process maps.
