BIM & Mapping Support Specialist
ZBeta, Inc.
• Review security record drawings to ensure they align with client standards and project-specific scope and discipline requirements • Conduct thorough quality control checks to confirm completeness and compliance of record documents, CAD content, and map integrations • Under the general supervision of the BIM Lead, support the integration of record documents into a master archive following client-specific CAD drafting standards • Provide additional CAD drafting support for non-standard projects where record documents aren’t available • Generate SLM drawings and .jpg images for LenelS2 map integration • Upload maps to client software and configure interactive maps with programmed devices • Create and maintain Gap Reports to communicate unresolved issues discovered during device placement and integration processes • Maintain complete and orderly project files and documentation • Deliver frontline (Tier 1) technical support, primarily focused on map integration and record document archiving • Support record document review for unintegrated projects and assist in reconciling issues found with appropriate parties • Work collaboratively with the BIM Lead on projects from design to closeout
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of AutoCAD and/or Revit experience in a professional environment required
- Associate degree, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Electrical Design, or relevant work experience
- Electronic security experience with vendor-specific knowledge (Lenel, Software House CCure 9000, DMP, Milestone, etc.) is a plus
- Familiarity with LenelS2 OnGuard access control/mapping is highly desirable
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Proficiency in Bluebeam is preferred
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and work quality
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
