Analytics Implementation Consultant

Sporty Group

• Support marketing campaigns by ensuring accurate tracking for conversions, events, and user interactions. • Analyse campaign performance data and provide insights to improve campaign effectiveness. • Configure and manage tracking for third-party advertising and marketing platforms, ensuring accurate attribution, conversion tracking, and campaign measurement. • Partner with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to understand campaign requirements, manage stakeholder needs and expectations, advise on tracking strategies, and ensure timely delivery of analytics implementations. • Conduct comprehensive audits of our Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 implementations to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. • Lead the implementation of GTM and GA4 across our web platforms, ensuring all tags, triggers, and variables are correctly configured to capture the required data. • Regularly update, maintain, and optimize GTM containers and GA4 configurations to support new features, evolving business requirements, and platform updates. • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to tag management, data layers, and analytics tracking, ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all marketing channels. • Train internal teams on the effective use of GTM and GA4 for their day-to-day operations. • Ensure all implementations comply with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA while maintaining user privacy standards. • Own the implementation of front-end and back-end tracking events and serve as the primary specialist for investigating and resolving tracking issues.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience implementing, auditing, and managing Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 across complex web, Android, and iOS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of web analytics, digital marketing, and data privacy.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting analytics tracking across marketing campaigns and third-party advertising platforms in a B2C environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, especially when collaborating across remote teams and with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for turning data into actionable insights.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a solid understanding of how they interact with GTM and GA4.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing tools, SEO, PPC, and social media campaign tracking.
