• You will be a senior engineer on the x360Sync team at ConnectWise, owning development of the macOS agent — a native desktop application at the heart of the x360Sync backup and file sync product • Design, implement, and maintain features in the x360Sync macOS agent, working primarily in C++ with Swift and Objective-C for platform-native integrations • Debug and resolve production issues, including deep-dive investigation across the application stack and macOS system APIs • Participate in architecture and design discussions, contributing technical recommendations grounded in macOS platform best practices • Write clean, well-tested code and take part in code reviews — both giving and receiving constructive feedback • Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver features on schedule without cutting corners on quality • Contribute to improving engineering standards, internal tooling, and development processes • Help scope and break down complex problems into well-defined tasks for yourself and the broader team • Document technical decisions, system behavior, and processes clearly for teammates and future contributors

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will act as a senior Individual Contributor (IC) and module lead, providing technical guidance and mentoring a small pod of 2-3 engineers. You will design low-to-medium complexity features, consistently deliver high-quality code, and help ensure your team stays on track. The ideal candidate has deep experience in building robust microservices with Golang, managing cloud-scale data, orchestrating workflows with Temporal, and implementing proactive SRE observability principles. Responsibilities - Deliver efficient, maintainable, robust GO based microservices. - Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements. - Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, and testing. - Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for new and existing features. - Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to continuously refine and improve the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
