Role Description Looking for an accomplished Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale Data & Analytics initiatives for one of the leading banking institutions in Saudi Arabia. This is a leadership role suited for professionals who have successfully managed enterprise-wide data transformation programs, large delivery teams, and senior business stakeholders within the Banking and Financial Services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of multiple strategic data initiatives while managing cross-functional teams comprising Data Engineers, Data Architects, BI Specialists, Data Scientists, QA Engineers, and Project Managers. Key Responsibilities - Own the end-to-end delivery of multiple Data & Analytics programs. - Drive execution across Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Data Science, AI/ML, Business Intelligence, Reporting, and Analytics initiatives. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. - Establish delivery governance frameworks and reporting mechanisms. Stakeholder Management - Partner with senior banking stakeholders, business leaders, technology teams, and executive management. - Provide regular project health updates, risk assessments, and executive dashboards. - Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor large delivery teams of 60–70 professionals. - Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Manage resource planning, utilization, capacity forecasting, and delivery performance. Program Governance - Establish project controls, delivery standards, and best practices. - Monitor project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans. - Drive Agile, Scrum, and Hybrid delivery methodologies where appropriate. - Ensure compliance with banking, security, regulatory, and audit requirements. Operational Excellence - Define and monitor delivery KPIs and service metrics. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery processes. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and business value realization. Qualifications - 15–20 years of overall IT experience. - Minimum 8 years of experience in Delivery Management, Program Management, or Portfolio Management roles. - Proven track record of managing large-scale Data & Analytics programs within Banking or Financial Services organizations. - Experience leading teams of 60+ members across multiple projects and workstreams. - Strong understanding of: - Data Engineering - Data Warehousing - Data Lakes - Data Governance - Data Quality - Business Intelligence & Reporting - Advanced Analytics - Data Science & AI/ML - Experience managing distributed delivery teams and multiple concurrent projects. - Strong expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and delivery planning. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with banks or financial institutions in the Middle East/GCC region. - Exposure to modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise data architectures. - Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements within the banking industry. - Experience working in multicultural and geographically distributed environments.
