Role Description We are looking for an experienced Integration SME to lead the architecture, standardization, and integration of complex warehouse and manufacturing automation ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in integrating: - WMS - WES - WCS - SAP - ASRS - AMR/AGV - conveyors - robotics - pack-out automation - manufacturing execution systems The SME will work closely with business stakeholders, automation vendors, IT teams, and solution architects to define: - system boundaries - integration patterns - data ownership - real-time communication models - future-state architecture for automated facilities This role will be instrumental in establishing standardized integration frameworks and ensuring seamless interoperability across multiple automation platforms. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in relevant fields - Experience in highly automated manufacturing or distribution environments - Prior experience with automotive, industrial manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse automation projects Requirements - Define end-to-end integration architecture across various systems - Design and standardize integration frameworks between warehouse software platforms and automation equipment - Define real-time event-driven communication models - Create standardized APIs and messaging patterns - Define responsibilities and interactions among WMS, WES, and WCS layers - Develop enterprise standards for integration architecture and messaging frameworks - Assess current-state systems and identify integration gaps - Provide guidance on SAP WM/EWM and third-party WMS - Lead architecture workshops and stakeholder reviews Benefits - Flexible work arrangements - Competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)

• Remote from the home office: support, fault analysis and resolutions via phone/remote tools (1st/2nd level depending on experience). • On-site at customer locations (throughout Germany): installations, rollouts, troubleshooting and commissioning (workstations, network, print/scan, card readers, and connected devices where applicable). • Systems & infrastructure: Windows clients/servers, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, basic VPN/WLAN/firewall concepts, backup/restore. • Healthcare IT (depending on know-how): TI/KIM, connector environment, eHBA/SMC-B, and clear documentation and handovers. • Customer focus & service orientation: nationwide on-site deployments, solution-oriented consulting and a high level of service readiness. • Documentation: concise, reproducible documentation (checklists, tickets, handovers) so solutions are repeatable.

• Create ML models from scratch or improve existing models. • Collaborate with the engineering team, data scientists, and product managers on production models. • Develop experimentation roadmap. • Set up a reproducible experimentation environment and maintain experimentation pipelines. • Monitor and maintain ML models in production to ensure optimal performance. • Write clear and comprehensive documentation for ML models, processes, and pipelines. • Stay updated with the latest developments in ML and AI and propose innovative solutions.
