Senior Vice President, Publisher Solutions
OpenAP
• Maintain and grow year-over-year revenue across key publisher partners • Drive utilization and adoption of OpenAP’s technology solutions and services • Expand and cultivate OpenAP’s premium video inventory footprint beyond existing suppliers to include local, addressable, distributor, OEM, and streaming inventory • Accelerate the growth and scale of convergent, cross-screen, audience-based video campaigns • Forecast, track, and communicate publisher revenue performance, risks, and growth opportunities • Develop, nurture, and manage trusted relationships with senior-level executives and day-to-day stakeholders across publisher ad sales, operations, product, and technology teams • Serve as a primary point of contact for publisher revenue and strategic initiatives • Lead standing meetings and strategic working sessions with publisher partners • Demonstrate consultative expertise by aligning OpenAP capabilities to publisher business models, KPIs, and monetization goals • Represent OpenAP professionally and confidently in market with senior stakeholders • Create publisher strategic account plans and maintain stakeholder mapping documentation • Own preparation and in-person presentation of business reviews • Build and present clear, compelling strategic materials that translate data, performance, and product capabilities into actionable insights • Develop and manage a publisher communication program, including best practices for product updates, operational guidance, and critical announcements • Build and scale publisher-facing functions, including enablement collateral such as core services presentations, workflows, FAQs, and technical documentation • Oversee publisher engagement to reliably deliver OpenAP platform services for campaign-level activation, usage, and invoicing • Establish and lead OpenAP’s annual publisher strategy and technology roadmap planning sessions • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, clarity, and consistency across publisher workflows • Serve as a key internal advocate and champion for publisher requirements, feedback, and process improvement • Partner closely with Product, Solutions Engineering, Operations, Audience Solutions, and Support teams to identify solutions and address supplier customer needs • Work hand-in-hand with Business Development and Partnerships to ensure alignment between third-party data, clean room, measurement, identity, currency, and ad-tech partnerships and publisher needs • Consultatively position new product offerings that add value or solve pain points for supplier customers; manage multi-stream projects, tracking status and revenue • Share actionable market feedback and package it into clear recommendations and project plans • Manage Director-level Platform Operations and additional publisher relationship managers as the team scales • Partner with internal stakeholders across Product, Client Services, Marketing, Sales, and the Executive Leadership Team on publisher-facing initiatives • Help define and refine internal swim lanes, operating norms, and ownership models • Develop scalable processes and a consistent publisher partner management program
Job Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in senior, supply-side relationship management within advanced advertising, including advanced TV, streaming, data-driven video, addressable advertising, or platform-based solutions
- Preexisting knowledge of identity frameworks, audience resolution, and the role of identity in enabling audience-based planning, activation, and measurement across advanced TV and streaming ecosystems is preferred
- Experience with advertising research, attribution, and campaign effectiveness insights across multiple methodologies is helpful
- Proven ability to operate independently and effectively in front of senior external stakeholders
- Strong consultative partner management skills with a track record of driving revenue growth and adoption
- Experience forecasting and managing publisher revenue
- Comfort balancing existing customer revenue with onboarding and scaling new supply partners
- Ability to clearly articulate value propositions and present confidently in new-business and strategic settings
- Deep understanding of data-driven advertising, advanced television, connected TV, targeting, measurement, attribution, and campaign effectiveness
- Strong process orientation with the ability to build structure and discipline in dynamic environments
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in ambiguity and building from the ground up
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with experience building strategic decks, roadmaps, and financial models with the ability to resourcefully leverage modern AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, visualization, workflow efficiency, and output quality
