Construction Estimator, Project Coordinator

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project plans, specifications, and scope of work. • Perform quantity takeoffs for construction projects. • Review blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications. • Coordinate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders. • Track project schedules, budgets, and progress throughout the project lifecycle. • Assist project managers with planning, procurement, and project coordination. • Maintain organized project records and documentation. • Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and internal teams. • Research material and labor costs to support accurate project estimates. • Ensure estimates and project documentation are completed accurately and on schedule.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction estimating, project coordination, or a related role.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of construction terminology, materials, methods, and estimating principles.
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing cost estimates.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- English proficiency at a C1 level or higher (written and verbal) with a slight to neutral accent.
- Availability to work during Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office.
- Experience with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, STACK, ProEst, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar platforms.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or Microsoft Project.
- Experience supporting residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with subcontractor bidding, procurement, and vendor management.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Experience supporting U.S.-based construction companies.
- Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot to improve workflow efficiency.
