Job Description

Experienced Generator Technician

Pearce Services

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems • Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance on generators • Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls, and test for proper operation • Be responsible for responding promptly/timely to Power/Generator alarms • Perform work with the awareness of all potential hazards connected with the installation and maintenance of power supply equipment

Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience with generator maintenance is preferred and a minimum of one year of intense work-related experience with generator and electrical maintenance-related software, hardware, and processes
  • Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair of Generators; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of pertinent FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations

Role Description ADB is seeking a Level II Technician, Joint Use to join ADB’s Engineering team. This position is responsible for make-ready work associated with fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) projects, including: - Fiber installation assessments - Coordination with pole owners - Permitting - Right-of-way - Related tasks to facilitate FTTH design and construction work The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, process driven with a strong work ethic and an ALL-IN attitude to achieve results. Qualifications - Proficient level ability to coordinate and design joint use pole attachments and make ready recommendations. - Ability to perform various field inspections, site walks, katapult pole collections, etc. - Proficient understanding to read and understand construction prints, documents, and make ready summaries. - Ability to create 3-dimensional model of poles in O-Calc and Spida-Calc. - Ability to create make ready summaries for various pole owner requirements. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong investigative mindset with an attention to detail. - Proficient computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Proficient knowledge in various pole loading software (O-Calc, Spida-Calc, Katapult). - Proficient knowledge in AutoCAD or GIS software. Requirements - 2+ years of engineering administrative experience OR 5+ years of field engineering experience. - 2+ years of experience of Katapult, O-Calc, Spida-Calc, or other similar programs. - 2+ years of experience of outside plant or joint use permitting experience. - High School Diploma. - Valid Driver’s License.
