Role Description The Behavioral Health Therapist will work as part of an interdisciplinary, team-based program that cares for patients enrolled in the Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program at Dell Medical School. - Provide telemedicine or telehealth programs to school districts to help identify and assess the behavioral health needs of children and adolescents. - Support TCHATT patients, guardians, and schools to improve a child’s overall functioning by providing counseling and care management services. - Conduct behavioral and mental health assessments. - Formulate and implement comprehensive assessments and individualized treatment plans. - Complete interdisciplinary team consultation as needed. - Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients. - Work independently with a strong attention to detail. - Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills. - Commit to professional ethical and practice standards.
