• Dispatch and manage OTR truck operations, ensuring on-time pickup and delivery. • Monitor shipments and proactively resolve service issues to keep freight moving. • Communicate with drivers regarding routes, appointments, delays, and operational updates. • Coordinate load assignments and optimize driver utilization. • Track driver Hours of Service (HOS) and ensure ELD compliance. • Work with customers, brokers, and carriers to provide shipment updates and resolve operational challenges. • Maintain accurate load information and documentation within the TMS. • Assist with drayage operations when needed, including port appointments and container movement coordination. • Escalate service failures and provide timely solutions to minimize disruptions. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of dispatch experience in the trucking/logistics industry.
  • Strong background in OTR dispatching.
  • Drayage experience is a plus.
  • Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS); familiarity with PortPro, Trillium, or Geotab is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with ELD platforms such as Samsara, Motive, or similar systems.
  • Experience working with customers and freight platforms such as Amazon, CH Robinson, Uber Freight, or similar.
  • Understanding of Hours of Service (HOS) regulations and transportation compliance.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Role Description The Dispatcher will play a vital role in intake, triage and access to care for Cityblock’s members across the country, 24/7. The Care Traffic Control center coordinates the flow of in-field and virtual resources, connecting members with medical providers and care staff in a matter of minutes.
