Role Description The Part-Time Advanced Transplant Coordinator is a clinically experienced transplant professional responsible for delivering high-quality support across organ offer evaluation, coordination, and transplant logistics. This role requires strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and communication skills to support multiple transplant programs while maintaining compliance with United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) policies and transplant center protocols. - Part-Time Coordinators will be cross-trained to support 2–3 clinical teams. - Must be available to work a minimum of five (5) 12-hour shifts per month. - Schedules provided in advance by their manager based on availability and organizational demand. - Expected to cover unexpectedly open shifts on shorter notice as requested. - This role is fully remote; employee must provide reliable home internet, PC, and phone. Qualifications - Minimum of 2 years of transplant or donation experience required (OPO, transplant center, or equivalent). - Preferred previous RN/RT/CST experience. - Bachelor's degree with relevant coursework. - Strong working knowledge of UNOS policies, organ allocation, and donor management practices. - Demonstrated clinical knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to organ transplantation. - Ability to manage multiple programs and workflows simultaneously. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - High level of proficiency with clinical systems and computer-based workflows. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment. - Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to work extended hours (12-hour shifts) with sustained focus and performance. - Proven ability to maintain professionalism, accountability, and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment. Requirements - Provide clinical support for organ offer evaluation, allocation, and coordination in alignment with UNOS policies and transplant center-specific protocols. - Maintain competency across 2–3 assigned clinical teams, including workflows, preferences, and communication pathways. - Deliver timely, measured, and accurate responses to organ offers within UNOS-designated timeframes (UNOS Policy 5.6). - Enter provisional yes decisions when required to prevent offer timeouts and escalate per protocol when physicians are not reachable. - Communicate effectively with transplant surgeons, coordinators, OPOs, and internal teams in a professional and collaborative manner. - Demonstrate strong understanding of donor management, including the ability to suggest clinically appropriate interventions aligned with transplant center expectations. - Participate in structured handoffs at shift change, ensuring all pertinent clinical and logistical information is communicated clearly. - Maintain readiness for on-call responsibilities, including: - 5–10 minute response time. - Backup phone access. - Reliable backup internet access. - Problem-solve dynamically to address unexpected clinical or logistical challenges in the transplant process. - Accurately document all work hours in designated timekeeping systems (e.g., Synerion).

Role Description The purpose of this position is to offer support to the daily operations of the Branch Office and Branch Manager(s). This role is eligible for telecommuting. Hours: 9:30-6:00pm This role requires having a designated workspace at home that is free from distractions. - Work with Sales team, referrals and/or patients to gather missing documentation/information to meet insurance guidelines. - Answer phone calls from customers to provide introductory information to new customers, determine the quickest, most effective ways to answer a customer’s questions, troubleshoot common issues with a product or service, work with the branch team and other departments to find appropriate resolutions, and escalate queries and concerns when necessary. - Perform several processing duties for the Branch as necessary including, but not limited to creating and working with intakes, reviewing ACIS screens to assist customers; and confirming delivery appointments, verifying insurance, obtaining authorization of equipment based on payor guidelines, completing tasks in processing tools, monitoring faxes and performing data entry document triage. - Perform post-delivery work order confirmation and data entry. - Perform initial outbound calls, faxes, SMS texting to patients and referrals on receipt of orders. - May conduct downloads of recording devices such as apnea monitors, oximeters, CPAP devices, and other respiratory equipment as directed. - Handle requests for audit/documentation purposes.
