Job Description

VP / Head of Finance

Zensai

Role Description At Zensai, we're building a modern Finance function designed to scale as we grow, using AI, automation and better systems rather than simply adding more people. We are moving away from fragmented, manual and locally driven finance processes and toward a centralized, technology-driven finance platform where data, systems and automation drive execution, and finance professionals can focus on judgement, control and value creation. You'll define how Finance operates across the Group, designing the systems, processes and governance that underpin our global finance platform. You'll stay hands-on by retaining ownership of our parent entity, Zensai International, working closely with our Head of Group Entities. As part of the Finance leadership team, you'll work alongside the CFO and Head of FP&A to shape how Finance evolves at Zensai. You will lead a small, high-impact team of 3–4 direct reports covering Group Accounting & Consolidation, Entity Accounting through external partners, and Finance Operations. Together, you'll create a scalable, consistent and well-controlled finance platform that connects accounting, systems, data and automation across the business. Key Responsibilities - Finance Platform Ownership - Own and define the global finance operating model, including processes, systems and data structures - Design and maintain Chart of Accounts (CoA) and accounting structures - Establish scalable, standardised processes across record-to-report, consolidation and disclosure - Accounting & Financial Control - Drive financial control excellence across the Group by owning accounting policies, the IFRS framework, and core internal control processes - Define and govern accounting principles applied by external partners - Operations Model & External Delivery - Design and manage the operating model for outsourced entity accounting - Ensure external partners deliver accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting - AI & Technology Enablement - Drive an AI-enabled and increasingly autonomous finance setup - Use AI to automate processes, improve data quality and strengthen financial controls Qualifications - Strong technical accounting and IFRS expertise - Experience with group structures and consolidation - Experience designing finance systems or ERP/data structures - Track record of improving finance processes and operating models - Practical understanding of AI and automation in Finance - Ability to connect accounting, data and technology to support forward-looking financial management and decision-making Process Apply in just a few minutes, no cover letter required. We review applications weekly and keep you updated throughout the process. Note: due to the summer holidays we might take a little longer to get back to you. But we always get back to everyone! Benefits - Full Flexibility: Work where and when you do your best! Morning person or night owl? Home office or office vibes? You decide. - Learning: 10% of your working time dedicated to development. Built in, not squeezed in. - Pension & Health: Enjoy a robust pension plan that includes life insurance, and coverage for loss of work capacity or serious illness. Plus, our health insurance takes care of hospital stays, surgeries, physical therapy—you name it. - Laptop & iPhone: Stay connected with a Laptop & iPhone on us. Need a subscription? We’ve got that too. - Lunch & Snacks: Enjoy tasty meals, snacks, and drinks during lunch.
