Role Description We're looking for a Staff AI Engineer to lead the development and technical direction of an advanced AI-powered healthcare platform. This role is ideal for an experienced AI engineer who enjoys designing production-grade AI systems, building reliable multi-model architectures, and solving complex real-world problems. You'll own the AI strategy, establish best practices, and develop scalable systems that prioritize reliability, accuracy, and safety. Qualifications - Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal (C1 level Minimum). - Enthusiastic, positive attitude, eager to work with others and solve problems. - Proven experience developing production AI systems using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and modern AI frameworks. - Strong experience building and deploying machine learning systems beyond generative AI. - Demonstrated success designing orchestrated multi-model and agentic AI applications. - Experience creating AI evaluation frameworks, observability systems, and model guardrails. - Strong understanding of AI architecture, system design, and production engineering best practices. - Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required. - Experience fine-tuning large language models is a plus. - Comfortable leveraging AI tools to improve productivity while maintaining strong engineering judgment. - Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Demonstrates ownership, accountability, precision, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
