• Design leadership & transformation: Evolve design from a reactive service model to a proactive, product-shaping partner; establish operating models across design, research, design systems, and design operations; drive prioritization, accountability, and delivery rigor. • Enterprise design systems: Build and scale a unified, enterprise-wide design system that improves consistency, reduces fragmentation, and accelerates delivery across products and teams. • AI-forward design: Integrate AI into design workflows, prototyping, and experimentation; apply experience designing and shipping AI-enabled products; help define how AI accelerates experience development. • Product & engineering partnership: Partner with Product Management and Engineering leadership; elevate design’s role in roadmap planning, experience strategy, and solution development; strengthen the PM–Design–Engineering triad across product teams. • Customer engagement & prototyping: Increase early customer involvement through design partner groups and rapid experimentation; emphasize prototyping to de-risk concepts and accelerate learning; improve adoption and engagement through stronger experience design. • People leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a large design organization; balance hands-on leadership with organization-building and talent development; influence across teams with conviction, collaboration, and cultural sensitivity.

• Design intuitive, accessible, and user-centered experiences for Grants.gov web applications, online forms, applicant workflows, grantor workflows, public website content, and related digital services. • Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, journey maps, form layouts, interaction patterns, and design specifications that support usability, accessibility, and implementation by development teams. • Design and improve web forms that are platform- and browser-independent, reduce duplicate data entry, support validation and simple calculations, and align with Grants.gov forms requirements. • Ensure designs, forms, content layouts, and interaction patterns comply with Section 508 requirements and accessibility best practices, including keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, focus order, labels, instructions, and error handling. • Conduct usability reviews, accessibility reviews, heuristic evaluations, stakeholder interviews, and technical requirements interviews to identify user pain points and improvement opportunities. • Collaborate with developers and testers to validate that implemented designs meet usability, accessibility, browser compatibility, responsive design, and Section 508 expectations. • Support corrective and preventative maintenance for website and form-related user experience issues, including broken links, confusing content, layout inconsistencies, inaccessible interactions, and helpdesk escalation trends. • Partner with content, communications, outreach, and helpdesk teams to improve user documentation, online help, FAQs, troubleshooting guidance, release notes, status updates, and other public-facing materials. • Support Grants.gov chatbot and AI-enabled customer support touchpoints by reviewing conversation flows, feedback patterns, content gaps, missed intents, and user experience opportunities. • Prepare design artifacts, accessibility findings, usability recommendations, wireframes, prototypes, and presentation materials consistent with HHS EPLC, program documentation, and stakeholder communication needs. • Present design recommendations, usability findings, accessibility risks, tradeoffs, and implementation considerations clearly to executive, federal, technical, and non-technical audiences.

Role Description This position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below: - Lead the development of comprehensive category negotiation strategies and manage the end-to-end contract life cycle to ensure long-term alignment with organizational objectives and financial objectives. - Oversee the synthesis of complex market trend data and research to provide expert guidance and actionable insights that drive innovative solution development and continuous strategy improvement. - Facilitates communication of clinically or operationally relevant information such as related product recalls/alerts, benefits and educational opportunities, contract announcements and other communication strategies, while representing The Resource Group's core values in interactions with suppliers and participants. - Facilitate the engagement of end-users and stakeholders to inform developed strategies and achieve consensus on contract awards, ensuring all contracts meet professional, clinical, and operational standards. - Conduct regular reviews of contract performance in collaboration with onsite Integration teams or key stakeholders to maximize value delivery and proactively communicate clinically or operationally relevant information. - Optimize team performance through strategic day-to-day management of associates including hiring, training and onboarding, professional development, and providing coaching and feedback as needed. Qualifications - High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred. - A Bachelor's degree. - 3+ years of professional experience (healthcare supply chain, project management, or other relevant experience).
