We are seeking a Division Vice President, AI Solutions & Foundation Models, who will serve as the leader for the fastest-growing part of TaskUs. This is a critical, executive-level leadership role responsible for owning the end-to-end success of the division - from GTM strategy and sales growth to operational excellence and cutting-edge research in both Generative and Embodied AI. The successful candidate will be a proven entrepreneur-operator, adept at both growing and running a high-stakes, specialized business within the evolving AI ecosystem. You will be the internal and external face and voice of TaskUs's commitment to making AI models—from Large Language Models (LLMs) to Autonomous Robotics—helpful, honest, and reliable. Key Responsibilities: 1. Business & Financial Leadership - Own P&L and Growth: Drive the AI Solutions business to achieve aggressive revenue targets in new incremental bookings in 2026. - GTM and Sales: Define and execute the global GTM strategy. Lead efforts to expand the portfolio with existing clients and secure new foundational model builders (text and multimodal), Mag7, and Fortune 500 accounts. - Executive Relationships: Leverage existing relationships with key decision-makers in top-buying companies (including Robotics and Autonomous Systems firms) to open doors and secure major commitments. 2. Specialized Operations & Delivery - Operational Vision: Set the strategic vision for a complex hybrid operating model that combines TaskUs FTEs and freelance "Taskers" across generalist and specialist domains, including math PhDs, linguists, and computer vision specialists. - Multimodal Data Capture: Develop and scale specialized programs for large-scale egocentric video collection, 3D spatial annotation, and human-in-the-loop (HITL) workflows for physical AI. - Leadership and Management: Lead and scale the core division teams, including Specialized Operations and Data Quality. Drive hiring and development to build out the team in H1 2026. - Client Partnership: Act as the ultimate operational point of contact and escalation for strategic clients, ensuring operational delivery exceeds expectations and drives strong, profitable relationships. 3. Thought Leadership & Innovation - Research & Standards: Oversee the Research function to publish novel research in AI data quality and safety. Co-create industry standards for both LLM RLHF and Robotics imitation learning with clients. - Market Presence: Be the external face of AI Solutions for TaskUs. Speak at industry events and conferences to influence executive-level decisions and enhance mindshare. - Analyst Relations: Drive efforts to ensure TaskUs is recognized as a leader in analyst reports. Secure client commitment for named case studies and testimonials. 4. Technical Strategy & Systems - Technology Ownership: Own the ML Engineering/MLOps function, ensuring the necessary tools and infrastructure are in place for safe, high-quality, and efficient multimodal data programs, including video ingestion and frame-accurate labeling. - Systems Thinking: Apply systems thinking to relentlessly seek cross-cutting process and technological enhancements to boost program performance and client success globally. Required Qualifications: - Experience: 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise client management, operations (in a leadership role), or top-tier consulting, with a focus on data quality, advanced AI services, or autonomous systems development. - Domain Expertise (The Maven): Deep domain knowledge of Generative AI and Embodied AI data quality techniques, including hands-on experience running, buying, or selling data services for LLMs and Multimodal/Robotics Foundation Models (e.g., egocentric video, 3D annotation). Must be at a conference keynote speaker level of expertise. - Operational Acumen (The Operator): Proven track record of building and running complex data programs (e.g., imitation learning pipelines, RLHF) and expertise in enabling hybrid operating models with full-time and crowd/freelance contributors. - Commercial Acumen (The Seller): Demonstrable success in growing a business in the AI/Tech space, with a history of hitting aggressive bookings targets specifically with foundational model builders and emerging Robotics/Autonomous Systems leaders. - Technical Visionary: Ability to direct the strategy for MLOps and data orchestration tools, navigating the infrastructure requirements for both massive-scale text processing and high-bandwidth video ingestion. - Leadership (The Leader): High-EQ leader, operator, and negotiator with a proven ability to influence in a matrixed organization and rally global teams without direct line management.
