• Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and testing the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus used by firefighting personnel • Conduct periodic service calls at Fire Departments • Perform routine inspections and functional checks of SCBA and SCBA-related equipment • Conduct maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on SCBA equipment • Conduct tests on SCBA units to verify that they meet or exceed manufacturer specifications and industry standards • Maintain detailed records of inspection, maintenance, and repair activities • Calibrate and adjust SCBA equipment for accurate readings • Train end-users and personnel on the proper use, care, and maintenance of SCBA equipment • Manage spare parts and replacement components inventory • Stay current with safety regulations and industry standards for SCBA equipment • Interact with customers and end-users to address concerns and assist with equipment-related issues

• Analyzing malfunctions and determining the necessary repairs for fire and emergency equipment • Operate and inspect this equipment and evaluate the best course of action to return the apparatus to a safe operating condition • Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using their own and company provided specialized tooling • Repair, rebuild, overhaul, and replace defective assemblies and components such as gauges, air fittings, plumbing lines and valves, hydraulic lines, various pumps, and basic engine components • Test repaired equipment to ensure operating efficiency and safety prior to releasing the apparatus for duty.

• Perform basic construction tasks such as racking and panel assembly, hand digging trenches, backfilling and material organization • Assist journeyworker tradespeople such as laborers, masons, and equipment operators • Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment • Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris and hazardous materials • Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other construction materials • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, and other temporary structures • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision • Follow safety guidelines and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times • Perform basic measurements and calculations • Communicate any delays

• Provide first-class on-site hydraulic hose services, including a breakdown/out-of-hours service • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers • Develop the mobile business, exceeding turnover and margin targets for your area • Maintain all stock on your service vehicle • Undertake risk assessments before commencing work and adhere to site health & safety regulations • Participate in an on-call rota, including potential night and weekend work (with paid overtime)
