HVAC/R Service Assistant Technician

Budderfly

• Ensuring continued excellent operation of Budderfly HVAC Units within your geographic area. This includes maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment. • Identifying maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment. • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC/R systems. • Completing commissioning checks of HVAC Units to ensure continued, efficient operation. This includes checking and correcting of HVAC RTU controller configurations in addition to the mechanical operation of the units. • Providing physical maintenance to Budderfly HVAC Units. This includes, but is not limited to changing filters, cleaning coils, inspecting/replacing belts, and inspecting units for other mechanical failures. • Responding to Emergency Service Calls on nights and weekends (when on-call) • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems, and performing warranty services. • Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. • Keeping daily logs and records of all functions in Company work order system. • Ensuring compliance with applicable State and Federal standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. • Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements. • Assisting with customers' queries.

Job Requirements

  • HVAC Controls experience. Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is a benefit.
  • New Technical School graduate.
  • Ability to recognize control and mechanical issues prior to the issue(s) compounding.
  • Enjoys continuous learning, as supported by your organization, both technically and professionally.
  • Desire to grow professionally further than being “just a filter changer.”
  • Desire to help shape a developing team with fellow HVAC technicians in your area.

Role Description The Assistant Professor for NCLEX Success facilitates NCLEX and HESI preparation for current distance education learners in the PN, ASN, and BSN programs as well as graduates. The incumbent will incorporate innovative teaching methodologies, cutting-edge technologies, and other industry trends reflecting advancements in the discipline by promoting an interdisciplinary approach to advanced practice nursing education and healthcare delivery within and outside the College. The Assistant Professor facilitates NCLEX success by providing a supportive and individualized coaching experience in all aspects of the NCLEX preparation process including: - Assisting learners and graduates to identify their personal learning needs - Interpreting learner knowledge gaps - Clarifying and demonstrating testing strategies - Monitoring progress and performance by analyzing available data Responsibilities include: - Supporting and preparing assigned learners to achieve NCLEX success through meaningful interactions, consistent communication, and customized learning plans for those identified as at-risk - Monitoring, engaging, and maintaining open communication with learners throughout the coaching process including grading and attendance of assigned activities - Developing, outlining, and facilitating scheduled study sessions and 1:1s - Completing initial and final evaluations for assigned learners and graduates, and making recommendations for transcript clearance - Attending NCLEX faculty meetings, participating in committees, engaging in shared decision-making, and other faculty activities as required - Participating in the successful implementation of other functional projects as they arise - Maintaining certification records as required by accreditation, facility, or state board of nursing Qualifications - Earned Graduate degree with a major in nursing from an accredited institution - Active, unencumbered RN or APRN license from state of residence and ability to obtain RN and NP licensure in any jurisdiction required by the College, including a valid multi-state license - Either has an earned Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential or commits to obtaining this certification within a one-year period - Maintains current knowledge in multiple areas of nursing practice - Maintains proficiency in online delivery of nursing education - Maintains certification records as required by accreditation, facility, or state board of nursing - Experience facilitating concept-based nursing education preferred - Proficiency in at least one learning management system (LMS), Canvas preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), and other technology platforms related to the delivery of online nursing education - Ability, willingness, and availability to perform needed responsibilities throughout the three academic semesters each calendar year
