Role Description We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can own the design function at Floret end-to-end. You'll shape user journeys and workflows across a complex financial platform, extend and evolve our existing design system, and help us build a product experience our customers love using every day. This is a high-ownership, high-autonomy role on a small team. There is no design manager above you. You'll set the design direction and raise the bar. What You'll Do - Own user journeys and product workflows - Map and design end-to-end user flows across core platform workflows including: - Deduction management - Accounting sync - Trade promotion management - Translate complex financial and operational processes into interfaces that are clear, efficient, and learnable - Design dashboard and data visualization experiences that help finance and operations teams understand and act on large volumes of financial data - Extend and evolve the design system: - Build on our existing component library to create a cohesive design language that scales with the product - Define and document standards for typography, color, spacing, and interaction patterns - Work closely with engineering to ensure design system components translate accurately into implementation - Drive the product design process: - Partner with product and engineering to go from problem definition through wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specs - Facilitate design reviews and contribute to product decisions upstream of execution - Validate designs through user feedback and iteration, not assumption - Contribute to brand and marketing design: - Support visual identity and brand expression across marketing surfaces including landing pages, sales collateral, and customer-facing communications when product workload allows - Maintain consistency between product and brand design Qualifications - 5+ years of professional product design experience - Track record of designing complex SaaS products end-to-end, from discovery through shipped feature - Has built or meaningfully contributed to a design system in a production product - Background in B2B, data-heavy, or fintech products preferred Requirements - Strong command of interaction design, information architecture, and user flow mapping - Experienced designing data-dense interfaces including tables, dashboards, and financial workflows - Proficient in Figma including components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping - Able to design at multiple fidelities depending on what a problem requires - Designs for users, not pixels - Turns complex workflows into interfaces that feel obvious in hindsight - Makes sound tradeoffs under time pressure and with incomplete information - Comfortable working directly with engineers and giving and receiving candid feedback - Actively uses AI design tools (Figma AI, Galileo, v0, or similar) as part of a real workflow, not as an occasional shortcut - Has a point of view on where AI accelerates design work and where human judgment is irreplaceable Bonus Points - Experience with accounting, ERP, or financial operations software - Background in CPG, retail, or supply chain products - Experience designing document-heavy or data extraction workflows - Brand and marketing design portfolio in addition to product work

Role Description We're hiring a Product Designer to own design end-to-end across our platform. This is a sole-designer role: you'll be the only dedicated designer at the company, working directly with product and engineering to take features from early concept through shipped UI. You'll join at a pivotal moment — we're expanding platform coverage across a broader range of our customers’ workflows, and exploring how AI can be woven directly into the product experience. You'll have real influence over what all of that looks like. This role reports to our Director of Product. What You'll Do - Own design end-to-end: User experience, user interface, information architecture, and interaction design, for our complex, data-dense B2B SaaS platform. - Talk directly to customers to deeply understand their pain points, mental models, and jobs-to-be-done, developing strong user empathy for the industries and personas we serve. - Balance speed with craft — know when to move fast with low-fidelity wireframes and when a polished mockup is what the situation demands. - Manage and evolve our design system to ensure visual and interaction consistency across the platform. - Help build a culture of AI curiosity on the product team — share learnings, experiment openly, and help identify where AI can meaningfully accelerate our design and product workflows. - Support occasional creative projects requested by Marketing or other teams that fall outside core UX design but leverage your broader creative skillset, such as producing product highlight videos for the website. Qualifications - Minimum 4 years of product design experience, with real range across both research/IA and visual/UI craft — we need a strong generalist, not a specialist in one half of the process. - Startup or small-team experience, ideally as a sole or founding designer — you know how to prioritize ruthlessly and move without a design team backing you up. - Experience designing complex, data-dense B2B software, including dashboards, multi-step workflows, interactive map-based tools, and multiple application states. - Exceptional communication skills – you can articulate design rationale clearly and persuasively to product, engineering, and leadership. - Collaborative by default — you build trust with cross-functional partners and know how to give and receive design feedback well. - Strong proficiency with Figma, including component libraries, variables, design tokens, prototyping, and maintaining shared design-system patterns. - Ability to understand technical constraints, ask the right questions, and work with engineers to identify solutions that balance user needs, delivery effort, maintainability, and product quality. - Genuine curiosity about AI in product design — either hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features, or a strong point of view on the tradeoffs involved. - Comfort and confidence operating in a fully remote yet fast-paced environment. Nice to Have - Experience or interest in climate tech, energy, infrastructure, or geospatial/mapping products. - Experience designing for both novice and power users within the same product. - Experience using AI-assisted design and prototyping tools responsibly to accelerate exploration, documentation, and collaboration without sacrificing design judgment or consistency. - Familiarity with front-end development concepts such as HTML, CSS, responsive layouts, component-based frameworks, and the practical constraints of web applications. Benefits - Competitive salary. - Equity. - Employee health, dental, and vision insurance, plus basic life, short-term disability, long-term disability, and AD&D. 100% coverage, starting at the beginning of the next month after your start date. - Access to a 401(k) company-sponsored retirement account. - Access to other voluntary, employee-paid benefits may be made available and are determined annually. - Flexible work schedule and vacation policy.
