Job Description
Talent Acquisition Partner
Arkestro
Role Description We're looking for our second People team hire — a Talent Acquisition Partner who will own full-cycle recruiting and play a key role in shaping our talent processes as we scale. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role: you'll be the primary driver of sourcing and hiring across the organization, working directly with hiring managers and leadership, while also helping build out how we onboard and support new hires once they join. Responsibilities - Recruiting & Sourcing - Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned open roles across the company - from intake to offer - including proactive sourcing of passive candidates for hard-to-fill and technical roles. - Partner with hiring managers to scope roles, write compelling job descriptions, and build structured interview plans. - Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach. - Manage the full candidate experience: scheduling, communication, feedback loops, and offer negotiation. - Keep our ATS clean and up to date; track and report on core recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline health, source of hire, etc.). - Coordination - Own interview scheduling and logistics across time zones for a fully remote team. - Serve as the main point of contact for candidates throughout the process. - Coordinate reference checks, background checks, and offer paperwork. - Onboarding & People Programs - Own and continuously improve the new-hire onboarding experience - from offer acceptance through the first 30-60-90 days. - Help build out early-stage talent processes as we grow, including employer branding, career pages, and referral programs. - Partner with the Head of People on ad hoc People projects. Qualifications - 4-6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with some in-house (not just agency) experience. - Experience recruiting for a tech company or technical roles (engineering, product, or similar) is strongly preferred. - Comfortable owning requisitions independently - you don't need heavy oversight to run a search. - Experience with an ATS (e.g. Greenhouse or similar) and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.). - Strong written and verbal communication - you'll represent the company to every candidate who comes through our pipeline. - Comfortable working asynchronously and across time zones in a fully remote environment. - Some exposure to onboarding, HR operations, or employee lifecycle work - you don't need to be an expert, but you should be excited to build in this space. Requirements - Experience being an early or first recruiting hire at a startup (nice to have). - Familiarity with employer branding or careers-page/content work (nice to have). Benefits - Competitive salary and startup equity. - Medical, Dental, Vision insurance premiums covered up to 100% (employee only). - 401K discretionary employer matching. - Unlimited PTO. - A remote-first team with regular opportunities to get together in person for team building, design sprints, and customer visits. - Annual budget of $1,000 for learning and professional development. - Diverse, inclusive, highly collaborative, and vibrant culture.
