Role Description As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend infrastructure of our applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability. You’ll work closely with the rest of the engineering team to tackle complex technical challenges and build solutions that can handle the unique demands of a crypto wallet app. - Design and implement scalable and robust backend services. - Develop APIs and integrate third-party services and Solana RPCs. - Manage databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and ensure data integrity and security. - Implement caching mechanisms using Redis for improved performance. - Work with PrismaJS for efficient database access and management. - Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, Google Cloud Platform). - Utilize BullJS for background job processing and Cron for scheduling tasks. - Write unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure code quality and reliability. - Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to ensure seamless integration. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development and blockchain. - Design and implement a microservices architecture for scalability and maintainability. Qualifications - Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development with a focus on web2/web3 technologies. - Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and PrismaJS. - Experience with cloud services (Google Cloud Platform, DigitalOcean) and DevOps practices. - Experience with unit and integrations test using Jest. - Knowledge of event-based architecture, microservices design patterns, and ability to design scalable systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. Requirements - Familiarity with blockchain technologies, specifically Solana, is a plus. - Proficiency in machine learning concepts and experience in applying them to real-world problems. - Experience in designing and optimizing backends to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
