Role Description As our Proposal Manager, you will lead the development and execution of Request for Proposal (RFP) responses for healthcare organizations seeking to improve their revenue cycle operations. You will manage the proposal process from opportunity kickoff through final submission, partnering closely with Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, HR, and other stakeholders to develop compelling, compliant, and competitive proposals. Each day, you'll drive proposal strategy, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the delivery of high-quality responses that align with client requirements and our organizational objectives. Your ability to build relationships, influence across teams, and translate complex solutions into compelling proposal content will be critical to success. To thrive in this role, you'll be an organized and proactive project leader with exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills. You'll enjoy managing multiple priorities, collaborating with subject matter experts, and delivering winning proposals in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Lead and execute the full proposal lifecycle, from solution development and proposal strategy through writing, editing, compliance review, production, and submission. - Manage opportunity kickoff meetings, proposal planning sessions, and ongoing project cadence calls to ensure alignment and timely execution. - Develop annotated outlines, response frameworks, and section specifications that support proposal strategy and messaging. - Lead cross-functional proposal development by partnering with Product, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, and other stakeholders to deliver competitive, compliant RFP responses. - Lead proposal strategy, planning, and content development for assigned opportunities, partnering with subject matter experts to strengthen competitive positioning and increase win probability. - Manage proposal logistics, compliance requirements, production, and submission activities to ensure accurate, high-quality, and timely delivery. - Coordinate the development of graphics and visual content that effectively communicate technical solutions, operational approaches, and key differentiators. - Utilize proposal management and collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, RFP management platforms, and AI-enabled technologies, to support proposal development and workflow management. - Edit, proofread, and provide peer-review support to ensure proposal content is accurate, compliant, consistent, and compelling. - Ensure all proposal content aligns with organizational branding, value propositions, business objectives, and style standards. - Support the preparation, packaging, binding, and delivery of proposal documentation as required. Requirements - Proven success independently leading complex proposals and RFP responses from opportunity kickoff through submission, including proposal strategy, project management, stakeholder coordination, content development, compliance, and production. - Ability to think critically and draw from several resources to create simple, unified, and persuasive documents. - Must be a strong communicator and able to interface with different levels of the organization. - Must be computer savvy and adept at using technologies aimed at communications and proposal development. - Must have proficiency with RFP AI Automation Software. - Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships cross-functionally with key stakeholders at various levels of the organization while leading with confidence on key projects.
