Role Description The Central Iowa VA Health Care System is recruiting for a full-time remote Neurologist. Responsibilities include: - Providing consultation services and follow-up for medical subspecialty patients in Neurology, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. - Working at the VA Medical Center in Des Moines or affiliated Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). - Participating in special projects pertinent to assigned sub-specialty as they become available. - Engaging in discharge planning and interdisciplinary patient care activities for inpatients. - Providing clinical oversight and review as a supervising or collaborating physician for mid-level providers. - Acting as a surrogate for patients of colleagues when necessary. - Maintaining quality of care to meet professional standards at all times. - Working within privileges unless necessitated by an emergency. Qualifications - United States Citizenship. - Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution. - Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. - Completion of residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program. - Proficiency in spoken and written English. Requirements - Applicants pending completion of training or license requirements may be referred and tentatively selected. - Physicians involved in academic training programs may be required to be board certified for faculty status. - Residents currently enrolled in accredited residency training programs may be appointed as "Physician Resident Providers" (PRPs). - In rare circumstances, exceptions to the residency training requirement may be approved based on the candidate's qualifications. • Own end-to-end delivery of data projects against lab and customer requirements • Source data through and manage a global contributor network • Run quality control and help build out scalable QC systems • Manage customer relationships and coordinate across all sides of delivery • Operate with high agency in an unstructured, fast-moving environment

• Own client engagements end to end, from understanding data requirements to final delivery. • Serve as the primary point of contact for lab researchers, translating their needs into clear data specifications. • Coordinate cross-functionally with platform engineering and the growth (expert sourcing) team. • Manage a network of technical experts producing the data, and run quality assurance and quality checks. • Proactively identify high-value datasets by tracking industry news and research.

• Serve as the Company's senior scientific advisor to the Executive Team and Board of Directors, providing scientific insight and strategic counsel • Partner with the Executive Team to shape portfolio strategy by integrating scientific and technical considerations into investment and prioritization decisions • Own and communicate the Company's scientific vision, innovation strategy, and long-term research roadmap • Define and evolve the Company's long-term scientific strategy • Continuously assess emerging science and technology to inform portfolio strategy and future growth • Elevate Travere's scientific reputation by cultivating relationships with leading investigators, academic institutions, and strategic partners • Provide executive leadership, strategic direction, and organizational oversight for the Research organization • Lead the scientific evaluation and due diligence of external opportunities • Partner with the Head of Research to build a world-class research organization • Develop and execute a long-term Technical Operations strategy • Build resilient technical capabilities across manufacturing and innovation
