Role Description We're looking for the first Analytics Engineer to join Monzo’s US expansion team. This is a critical strategic and technical role where you'll shape the data foundation for our entire US business. - Architect the US Data Foundation: Own the US data model from end-to-end, identifying gaps and building the roadmap to fill them in collaboration with our SF-based Lead Data Scientist. - Make the Critical Calls: Decide when to leverage Monzo's global models and when to build new, US-specific solutions. - Bridge the Atlantic: Work closely with our brilliant global AE team (UK) to ship data modeling improvements that benefit the US market and the entire company. - Build the US-Specific Stack: Design, build, and maintain the robust, scalable, and high-quality data models that will power our US-specific products and analytics. - Be the US Stack Expert: Act as the go-to technical owner for dbt, data modeling, and our data stack for the entire US team.
